Amazing finds guys! Love all those old coins especially that seated and Morgan! When I used my CTX and Etrac my halves always hit around 1-45 and my dollars even though I never dug one always air tested 1-40/1-41 so it makes perfectly good sense that it sounded like a wheat. HH!

I was able to get permission at one by asking at the county sheriff's office. I dealt with a very helpful Deputy. He talked to Sheriff who said I could detect, but not dig. Deputy called county commissioner, who said they could bring it up at a commission meeting, but suggested calling the county attorney. County attorney gave the OK. Kudos to the Deputy for making all the calls for me. And this all happened on a Sunday morning.

I have the same detector. I have been detecting less than a year. I'm still learning what my machine is telling me. My silver count is small, a Mercury dime and a SLQ. I found the dime in a yard I got permission, and the quarter in a public area I'm sure has been hunted before. Most of my hunting has been in parks and I end up digging a lot of trash. Pop tops ring up on our machine around 34-36. Could be a nickel, or a gold ring! Won't know unless you dig it. Keep digging and it will come. Remember, these videos condense many hours of detecting into a 20 minutes of showing the good stuff. Good luck & happy hunting.
