Thank you so much Divya for such great Insights and waiting for the next parts. @CareersTalk I am very new to your channel & completey loving it! I have few questions, will really appreciate if you could takena lool at them and answer them. 1. When it comes to requirement life cycle of a BA , after BRD, when we write SRS there we write all functional and non functional requirements. Is it mainly made for developers ? 2. We already writing SRS, then why BA needs FRD ? Whats the differnece ? 3. Is FRD is made for detailed explanation & from them Use case arrive ? 4. In next video, can you please explain which diagrams like Uml, flowchart, activity , use case diagram etc are when & why ? Thanks in advance !

Hi, SRS documents are also known as product requirements or system requirements documents. These are prepared by BA or system analyst. SRS is prepared in planning phase and it addresses mainly what requirements need to be fulfilled to satisfy the business needs. It gives an overview of various modules involved in developing the project. Suppose if we are developing a banking application the various modules can be login module, Register Module, Admin Module e.t.c.... The SRS documents are mainly used by Project Managers, SMEs, Team Leads. Technically SRS will tell you what kind of functionalities are included in the system FRS and Non Functional requirement documents represent the granular level of requirements. It shows what kind of the data should be shown on each screen. Like if you are registering to any website what data you need to fill in in order to register. Non functional requirements can represent the look and feel, security and privacy related requirements. FRS are also prepared in planning phase and they are prepared by BA or System Analyst. These documents include the details only about the behavior of the system. These documents are mainly used by team leads, developers and testing team. Based on the organization practices these documents are prepared separately or they include Functional and Non functional requirements in SRS. Yes FRDs are detailed explanation of all the functional requirements in a granular level that required to build the system and USE cases are diagrammatic representations of the various requirements and they show how the user interacts with system. Use cases describe the system behavior from end user perspective Hope I have answered all of your questions. Thanks for reaching out to us.

I have process improvement experience of 10 years and completed my pmi pba 15 days back and the dilemma which is hitting me now is all recruiters need BAs mainly for Product Management that also with atleast 2-3 product or big project experiences. There is no functional ba position, Even ERP teams looks in respect of product manager or product owner. Out of 30, hardly 2-3 organization may be needing Ba for proper BA work all others are want BA to work as Product analyst without giving chance of experience. I am now planing to do real projects online and get more certification prove experience with projects.

Hi Hassani, I kind of have similar experience, I have been working in investment banking operations and change management and willing to transition my career in BA however I am not getting any responses from recruiter. I did few certification on agile, BA etc. Did you manage to get in to the BA role? Is there any way to do online project? Please guide
