Lebron’s school is a charter school which is publicly funded and privately ran. But Dr. Umar school is private so it takes longer to build.

This is true although Dr Umar has apparently bought the buildings for his schools FDMG academy boys and girls, but all the maintenance in them he wants done by black people which is why the school is not up and running. We understand where he is coming from but we also want to see where the funds that he’s asking for on live each week are going towards just like all the other cooperations we spoke about on the full episode but we appreciate the input nonetheless

Guys, Lebron never built a school. Its a public school meaning its a government school. Lebron was in fact a donor but since it came from his foundation that gets money from anywhere, we don't know how much of that money is actually his. However still, he has to get credit for being a donor but lets not get carried away. He didn't build a school and he has no control over what goes on in the school. Look up the school, its been a failure. Most of kids who go there come out worse than if they went to a regular public school. Now, if you want to give LBJ so much credit for the school he has to equally get blame for the school failures. Or you just recognize him as a donor, and then the school failures have nothing to do with him at all.

Exactly it’s a charter school so it’s publicly funded and it’s failed miserably so far. I think Dr. Umars school will do much better because it will be a boarding school.

We were having a discussion around Charity and what the hell it is? Because of all the recent madness that has been going on with Sir Tom’s Daughter and things of that nature, so we said there’s one charity that we can see where the money is going too and that’s the Lebron James Foundation not saying that the school is a success or things of that nature but we are saying that we can see when there’s money donated or money given we can see where that money is going whereas with others i.e Dr Umar we are struggling to see where those donations have gone towards.
