The case of Hells Angel Gerry Tobin, who was murdered by members of rival motorcycle gang the Outlaws on the M40 while travelling back from the Bulldog Bash festival in August 2007. With access to the police investigation and CCTV footage, as well as interviews with Tobin's family, the programme pieces together the events that led up to his death.

I was mainly in care & whilst at my children's home in Torquay we would have the Hells Angel's coming almost every year to bring presents for us. This was the 80's. Lovely bunch of guys & very kind. Never judge a book by its cover.. or in this case a bloody vest. ✌

Lovely bunch of guys? Bullcrap. I don't know about the UK, but the Hells Angels here are a gang of thugs involved in just about every criminal activity (murder, assault, robbery, rape, drugs, prostitution, extortion, etc) you can think of. They are not nice guys, by any stretch.

Sad case but if you are affiliated to gangs like this then you know what might happen as they aren't the girl guides. Furthermore when your gang members won't help convict the killer then it says a lot about their morals. The real victim here is the mother.

The bikers at Hollister didn't "ride into a small town and trash it". Hollister had been holding an annual motorcycle rally for years. The residents and businesses were accustomed to it, and it was a biker-friendly town. The first rally after the end of WWII brought a lot more bikers than usual, and the town didn't have enough hotel rooms to accomodate. That resulted in an all-night party that got a little out of hand, but nothing like what the media portrayed afterwards.

In Australia Sydney 1980’s we had a nasty shoot out between two 1% outlaw biker gangs several people killed and injured. A young 14 year old girl was shot dead. They are alleged to be involved in major drug distribution, firearm dealing, prostitution, extortion have murdered other rival gang members. I have met them as an Ambulance Officer they were very tough/hard men but also quiet friendly many actually have military backgrounds.

What is this cause that you refer to? In Canada (and other counties) the HA’s Modus operandi is coercion and intimidation. This is meant to increase their credibility with the criminal underworld. I know not all members are involved in criminal activity, but as a full patch member you are, by default a part of that Praetorian Guard that maintains that organized crime status.

Living in Oxford I'm well aware any incident on the M40 means major congestion due to the closure of often both sides. A murder like this would have meant being stuck for hours. I Iisten to all the traffic reports and if there is an incident on the 40 get off as quickly as possible and take the old A roads it will save you hours of gridlock. RIP all those killed on our roads its dangerous enough what with some of the idiots driving nowadays, many from countries with much slacker driving training and tests or worse still using a family (swop) licence. Without murderous scum shooting indiscriminately with no concern for the innocent drivers and their families on the 40 that day.

I dunno, these people bring this on themselves, so I'd be more concerned about the safety of the community & how the PUBLIC could've been hurt in this situation. Mind you, this case could be a good excuse for them to put some of these guys away. They don't tend to interfere w/people who aren't involved in their gangs, which is something (not like chavs), so there's no random violence or major danger to people not associated w/them, but it's not good to let them challenge LEGITIMATE AUTHORITY!

Interesting (and distracting) that the narration is written such that they're never referred to as gangs. It just sounds awkward and silly to call them 'clubs' or 'groups'. Not saying they're similar to inner-city gangs, but come on; that's what they're called. They're not a knitting circle.
