So grateful to see real toddler life! I learn SO much from you by seeing real meltdowns and your responses to your kids. You say it's not "perfect" but I genuinely feel like I've learned how to implement positive parenting tactics watching how you handle Ainsley's tough moments more so than other channels just explaining how to do it. Thank you for sharing your REAL world and please keep it sharing whenever you are able! I have the notifications turned on 😁

You are amazing and so capable! I want to know all your hacks and secrets to functioning the level you do with three kids and pregnant!! Pregnancy is not fun for me and I feel like I’m not a good mom for 9 months. You’re amazing!

You balance so much and do it with so much grace and love! Love seeing your day in the life videos - and thank you for being so real and honest about it all!

Thanks for showing this, it's beautiful to see a not so perfect day with normal toddlers who fuss sometimes. Sometimes I see so many toddlers online who just seem perfect and I see mine who is tantruming and I think I'm the only one. So thanks for that. Also your children are so good at saying how they are feeling, that will help them so much as they grow. That's something I need to work on as an adult feeling people how I feel.

Yes girl! You are not alone! EVERYONES kiddos fuss sometimes! Heck, even WE fuss sometimes! And my kids are definitely no exception 😆 I honestly think it’s an injustice to you all if I just show the “good moments” rather than a balance of all “real moments”! We like to keep it real here 😅 Even when it looks like this 😆

You are doing an amazing job mama!! I feel like this all the time but I only have two kiddos, 2.5 years and 6 months. But you truly inspire me to do better and be more patient with them when I'm feeling overwhelmed. Thank you, and I'm so happy y'all get to see your hubby 💕

My two and a half year old toddler doesn't nap at all most of the week so if your girl is like that its normal ,she is growing up, no need to force her to nap, they will go to bed early that night so its a win win❤️

Momma, I’ve just got 1 and pregnant and we have been surviving it too. You’re doing amazing! Hospital and still going to a trip. Whew. Way to go!

Hospital or not, I wouldn’t miss this trip for the world 😆 But you got this Mama! Being pregnant is no joke! Haha! Sending big hugs your way! ❤️

Everyday is such a headache with our 3 year old this past year. He WILL NOT nap and is EXHAUSTED the whole day. We're pretty miserable and on edge because of it. I have very few options but to try to just cope with him being tired. I'm 36 weeks pregnant and our 18 month old is starting to act like a 2 year old recently; so... you are not alone momma! One day at a time. It is SO hard.

I don’t know where you are. I wish moms in America could have that extended family experience where you have extra hands and eyes from aunties, grandmas , etc. I wish you the best and stay strong and positive.

Hahaha, you’re awesome! Thanks for your kind words! I don’t love the days that I can feel my fuse being short with the kids but I try to remember that I’m human too! And it’s gonna happen! 🥴 I appreciate your graciousness though! ❤️

I thought you guys are going to be homeschooling. Can you expand in that change?
@CarnahanFam2 жыл бұрын
Hi Matthew! We do some homeschool preschool but the kids also do need socialization and other opportunities we cannot provide solely at home so they do a half day preschool integration at a Montessori school! Though, when the kids are school age, we do plan on sending them to public school as long as it’s a good fit 💛 Great question!

Can you please give us tips on how you manage to be firm yet loving and patient....first time mama to a toddler...i just want to be there for her and love her but i dont want to be with her how my dad was with me growing up
@CarnahanFam2 жыл бұрын
I always say “empathy and boundaries goes a long way”. Because of my own level of stimulation and tolerance AND other kids to care for, I can’t always sit through every tantrum but I CAN validate their feelings and empathize with them AND I can be firm and say “and it is time for xyz” or whatever the circumstances may be! They may still be upset and that is okay! It’s not about never upsetting your child, but more about helping them have a well balanced life with routines, LOVE, expectation, etc.

if i did all u do id be contracting all day aswell!! sis u need to sit down when ur kids sleep! drink water and lay for 10 min ! ❤

Ironically this little guy contracts more when I sit/lay down 😆 But yes! I hear you! Now that my husband is home I can sit a little more 😉
@rachellepercival2844 Жыл бұрын
Haha so no judgments here, but I'm wondering why you put them to sleep for a nap when they get home from school? I'm confused.
