I appreciate how real and honest you are about being a mom. Sometimes I get overwhelmed with one and feel like I wouldn’t know how to handle 2 kids but you made me really emotional, especially the part of you saying that the more kids you have the better version of a mother they get. ❤ thanks for sharing. You’re making me want another baby 🥰

When you were talking about sometimes feeling bad about the third getting more hand me downs or less new stuff and sometimes feeling guilty for that - but then realizing that he is getting the best version of mom 🥰🥰 got me in the feels! I’m due with number three next month and have been fighting that same dichotomy. It was so nice to hear another mama on the other side validate and soothe that worry! You’re doing great mama! ❤❤

I would recommend some shows for you to watch but I only watch crappy reality tv shows like love island uk (it’s on Hulu) and real housewives and summer house. Thanks for this amazing vlog. It makes me feel so normal to hear you discuss the reality of motherhood. I loved your thrive and Walmart hauls. You’re so relatable and so honest and your family is so sweet. Jackson saying he wants to keep Sean forever is precious. Sending love!

Thank you for mentioning Maui. My husband’s grandma’s house was lost in the fire, and we’re all devastated. But as mentioned by others, you can definitely tell the level of confidence you’ve gained in this new season of motherhood! So happy for you and your Ohana! Aloha always! - The Tranillas ❤

I always feel bad about complaining about pregnancy because I am thankful for the gift of having a baby, it’s a blessing, and it is a special time. But wow… it was 90% awful. I was sick nearly every day for 9 months, extremely uncomfortable nearly every day of it, exhausted, frustrated at work, etc. And then the birth was traumatizing and scary for both of us. Then we didn’t sleep for weeks/months… But having a toddler is AMAZING! We get full-night sleeps, and we have fun every day. Lots of work, but rewarding. Keep it up, Kayla! You’re doing an amazing job x3!

I find the not knowing what's wrong with my kid extremely frustrating/heartbreaking. In my heart I really wanted another baby, but my mental health could not endure that again (my youngest is 2.5 years old, but due to autism he is still not able to properly communicate what upsets him). I want you to know that I am rooting for you guys and totally invested. The other day I cried really hard when you mentioned your baby girl acting out, because the feelings of that happening to my oldest really came back to my memory. One day I was soooo sleep deprived dealing with a colicky baby on my own that I lost my patience with him and spoke to him harshly. He cried so hard and between cries he said "why did you used to love me when I was 4 and now that I'm 5 you don't love me anymore" I totally lost it 😭 I apologized to him and went out of my way to never let it happen again. I want you to know you and your beautiful family have my support through my prayers. The Lord will get you through this rough bump❤

Kayla… a couple of tips that helped me and hope will help (if you’re financially able): Instacart everything (or other online ordering for groceries, Walmart, Target…) Dixie cups, paper plates and disposable utensils to lessen dishes Drop-off wash-and-fold for your laundry (I’m sure there are businesses in Miami where they even pick up from you and drop off after.) I know things can add up because new babies are expensive enough. But you’re exhausted and deserve some relief❤

I totally get the wanting less stimulation for yourself, but I can’t recommend enough allowing noise to be present more often than not with a newborn who struggles to stay asleep in a nap! When I had my second, my oldest always played rough and loud in our very small rental and I’d have music playing and just all the things and it really helped for my baby to sleep through the noise. You’re doing such an amazing job Kayla and your kids are so beautiful. God bless🤍

I took my toddler to the library yesterday and found some major gems that they had for sale. I got over 20 educational programs for 10 cents a piece. I also got a book all about Wisconsin. I want to purchase a book for each state. I have about 7 books on different states. Ann Heinriches did a whole series if your interested in looking for them at the library when it comes that time to teach Geography. Great attitude and perspective. Kids don't remember clothes and material things, they remember moments spent. Hand me downs= more money for other necessities/savings for the future. I really hope that your nail habits rubs off on me. I have SO much nail polish, but rarely paint my own nails. Sean's new outfits are so adorable 😍 ❤. Is Joe enjoying being home?

“We are running out of my favorite snacks” lol I love Riley! Watching ur videos makes me so emotional because when I first got pregnant I used to BINGE watch all your videos like “I wanna be her when I grow up!” Lol and I’m 38 so that says a lot! Netflix has some good documentaries not sure if you guys are into sports but Untold swamp kings is really good (we are UM fans so watching the Gators while we live in Orlando feels like tremendo betrayal lol), also Quaterbacks is good, Painkiller was very good too that was like 8 episodes of not less. If you guys have Apple TV Blackbird is good too, invasion season 2 started this week so you can binge watch season one, Ted Lasso is great it’s 30 min episodes and you will laugh so much!

Start documenting what you are seeing from his patterns during the days. Do this for around 5 to 9 days. Watch for a natural pattern he is doing. Then you work around that. I didn’t do that till my 2nd and it worked. I was getting rest and stuff done. Plus baby was napping appropriately and wasn’t constantly on me nursing.

No offense at all please don’t take this the wrong way but with one baby it’s SOOOOO EASY given that you and baby are good and healthy hopefully but when it’s just you and baby it’s JUST you two you have way much more time on your hands , when you have more than one kid you will understand so hopefully you don’t take it for granted take it slowly enjoy time seriously I wish someone would’ve told me when I had my first that it’s just sooooo easy with just one baby ahhhh I say don’t take it wrong cuz people sometimes take the wrong thing up the ass like I’m really saying this in a good way when you have one baby yoh can really just let time go slowly and enjoy every moment once you have more kids well now you taking care of a newborn and a toddler and yourself and the house and your husband and anything else it gets WAY more hectic you get what I’m saying idk hope you do good luck you got this god bless

I'm 10 weeks postpartum with our first. I'm loving this time with him but am struggling with the anxiety of leaving the house with the baby on my own (we've done neighborhood walks and one trip to the pediatrician just the two of us). Like if he needs something while we're out, can I juggle it? I've been trying to build up the confidence,/motivation to go the grocery store with him alone, for example. Like what if he has a blow out in the middle of shopping with a full cart or just won't stop crying. Friday's were my grocery days pre baby so I'm thinking I'll use this video as my push to try today. Thank you

It could still be colic. You can gently heat one of his cotton blankets and wrap around his belly over his clothes for relief. There’s also probiotics gas drops that help the baby relax and push out what ever is stuck in there. For my son colic started at the 1 month mark and lasted till 4 months.

I understand when you say you are over stimulated with all the noise. The baby may feel the same way. When my son was born, I would tell my daughter she had to use her indoor voice inside the house.
