Yeah I'm a broke'n'ill escapee as well, and that reference to the town made me do a doubletake. It also brought back a memory of hearing a real estate agent there explain to a potential buyer of a house, that the house was built by a builder, plumbed by a plumber, and wired by an electrician so it's a really good house to buy... and regarding the really old houses in Broken Hill knowing what I do that would have actually made sense, but this house wasn't that old and it was utterly absurd to use that as a selling point, and yet he still did it. I was gobsmacked.
