I love this style of neo acid rock type music, especially with vocals like these. There was a band about a decade ago called Zombies of the Stratosphere, they only put out a handful of songs but I absolutely love them. This is the closest thing to them I've heard since then

Definitely. During the intro it's very sneaky, because I think I hear a guitar with a flange on it, but it might also be a textural keyboard, and then another guitar that feels like a pedal steel but is more likely a 12-string electric. The guitars and keys sort of blend together in a way that makes it harder to pull out individual parts, but by design. It's quite clever.
