Real Florida Adventures! | Historic Winter Park Boat Tour, Mr. Roger's House & Millionaire's Island!

In today's vlog we take a look at some of Florida's lesser known tourist spots! We take the historic Winter Park boat tour! This tour was $14 and was about an hour long. The boat isn't covered so plan for that accordingly, but it was still very breezy on the water during the tour. On this tour we were able to see some parts of Winter Park that you wouldn't normally be able to see up close. Our boat captain and tour guide was awesome too, he had lots of neat facts and trivia and most of it couldn't make it into the vlog (for length purposes) so we definitely recommend taking the tour bc theres so much we didn't show in this vid. We saw Horace Grant's (previous Orlando Magic basketball player) house and we also got to see Mr. Roger's, college home when he attended Rollins College right there in Winter Park! It's a small world indeed!! I started watching your videos about 4 years ago. My husband and I decided to move to Florida from Puerto Rico and after doing our research agreed on Winter Park. We moved here about 5 weeks ago! Last Saturday we explored the town for the first time! We LOVE it! We didn't do the boat tour though, maybe next Saturday. Our best to Jen and Bandit.

Tip you are moving at the worst time of year. Don't spend time outdoors until mid September. Just hibernate until then. Next summer you will ease in and it will be better.

We just went on this boat tour one month ago when visiting my old friend and classmate from Germany who is living now with his wife in Winter Park for several years. It‘s really such a nice city and the boat tour is just great! Love your videos! Best wishes from Germany!

Go to Winter Park every time I visit, took the boat tour last December, which was a little chilly but a really fun and informative tour. Really love eating at Bosphorous in Winter Park.

We took this tour last year. We loved it!! When we were there in May, 2017, there was a drought going on. Only part of the canals were navigable . It's nice to see the complete tour is now available. We had the same skipper. Same jokes...lol. He stopped the boat so we could take picture of some beautiful bald eagles. Thank you for sharing this!! I recommend this tour, also.

Did this tour two years ago - we were staying on i-Drive and arranged it through Gray Line. It's a lovely little pootle through the lakes of Winter Park. We actually went back up to Winter Park on the Sunrail last year as it is such a nice little town / suburb. Well worth your time!

I love your videos! Beautiful. I love that you two explore all over Florida, and give us all a better idea of what is available to do. In fact, we have been watching them for a couple of years, and they have been an inspiration for us beginning the process to move our family to the area. We went on the trip a few years ago and in the middle of it a storm rolled on. So we were given rain check tickets, we went back two years later and they honored the tickets without a quibble. Brilliant experience and really nice guys.

More off the beaten path destinations please! We did this tour a couple years back and it was pretty neat. Very nice tour guide. Even provided us with raincoats when it unexpectedly started to rain, no extra charge. Would recommend doing it one time and enjoy the relaxing boat ride.

Our captain gave a kid on our boat a free hat so the sun wasn't in his eyes. They are good people running this tour!
