Tim it actually puts a lump in my throat because of how much it freaks me out to see you just holding your camera on that lift hill. I honestly don't understand why all rides, like the sky tower, isn't included in the admission price. The parks in my area don't charge extra, and I don't see the purpose of the extra money.

Jamie Kernc SeaWorld has fought a financial struggle recently with the increased costs coming from Kraken's VR fiasco, and the Infinity Falls construction. Many employees were layed off including some people I know. Guess they're trying to milk what funds they can. (I don't hate the park or anything by the way, dont think im hating please, just stating what Ive observed!)

Why wouldn't they just increase ticket prices? Not be snarky either:) Hersheypark, up by me, is getting ready to do a big expansion; everything is included in one price, even the water park (with new rides this year to boot). Do you think it's a result of the negative attention they have gotten as a company? Honestly, the park theme doesn't really appeal to my family, so chances I'd visit are slim to begin with. But, from what I understand they are very reasonably priced for an annual pass, so maybe they just need a cost increase across the board?

@TheAcidicSniper The Sky Tower has a very low capacity compared to the other rides at the park as well, so should the park become unexpectedly popular again it will probably need to be in place to limit guests going onto the ride to an extent, never mind the fact that the weather has also caused quite a few cases of refunds as well. Also, as the park surges back into play with no warning (they haven't done a major layoff since April and have had to hire quite a few staff members as well to deal with the extra crowds), it's going to get to a point where the low capacity is going to be a problem for the ride. Also, it was one of the two rides that were an up-charge for most of its existence, though it is cheaper than it originally was (the other one is the paddle boats and that has always been an up-charge as well).
