I love these small hot hatches!! But at F606, I don't fit in them too well!! Having owned a MK1 Fiesta Supersport, I found a MK1 Vauxhall Nova Sport, which was part of the homologation run to allow the Nova to go rallying! 150bhp, from a modified 1300cc car was nuts, with no abs, traction control, or anything!! I also had the original Yaris SR, which I loved!! It looked ridiculous me getting out of every single one of those cars, but they were fun!! That GR looks mental, and would be right up my street, and but for my bad hip and dodgy back, I would have loved one. Great video. 👍🏻

GR looks like a lot of fun. One thing about an engaging driver's car is, it is tiring and exhausting. Going from a MINI GP to the Subie Outback I am almost thankful that I'm done driving the GP. From the Outback to GP, I get the instant gratification of how fun the GP is. But after a half an hour or so in the GP I couldn't wait to get back on the Outback. I've probably outgrown the enthusiast in me. BTW, my dream is also a 911 and newer Godzilla since it came out.

Great video Tomley. As a Tamiya enthusiast, and Yaris GR owner myself, I also intend to get the Mf01x, apply different suspension, and also add Core RC Pearl paint. A guy on the Yaris Forum has done this. I just need to work out if I should buy the kit you've shown then add too, or go with MF01X, Yaris shell etc.

Ooh, nice motor Phil and how cool to have the matching Tamiya. Tamiya do some odd things with chassis choices. For instance they put the Mazda MX5 on a FWD M-05 when that body fits very well on the RWD M06. Anyway, forget about the Porsche and enjoy your pocket rocket (Just to be clear, I mean the Yaris) :-)

Not sure if you've seen it but there is a hack (literally) to improve outward visibility allowing the mirror to move up. I think it's outlined in a recent "living with" video on Harry Garage. Might be no good, but I wondered if you could buy the part and adjust the spare part and retain original.

That 4 wheel drive system even the gear stick and transfer button and specs look remarkably the same as the suzuki system thats been in the vitara S and swift sport 4x4 since 2014 made for the scross pikes peak rally car the same system Toyota and Suzuki have entered into a partnership with making the toyota rav4 and the Suzuki Across the Toyota camary and Suzuki cant remember the name lol 😂
