The ocean has risen a lot over the years. Those wooden groynes are nearly totally submerged. Only a scrap of sand beach remains. Thanks for sharing your video.

Hi . Very nice to see the old place. You did a great job showcasing the place. I can't say i know you but i wonder if you know me. I am Zaman from La Jalousie Pakistan. I use to live right next to the new park by the seawall. I used to play ball and catch fish at the seawall. Also used to graze cows at La Jalousie backdam. Your show brought back a lot of great memories man. I left the place about 44 years ago. Last time i went back was 2013.

I know you, I went to school with you and Nazalin, same class. I am sure you remember Nazarene, Sheriff (Majeed), Jalal, Najir and the Rahim boys. Not forgetting Ghana! I am an old time comrade! You will be surprised to know who I am! Boy, I long for those days. If I could, I want just one day out of those good old days, 1970s. I just wonder where everyone is? I would like to meet my old friends just to hear their stories and journeys of life. And I am playing “devil” with my friend here who did this video. I am being a mystery man and he cannot figure it out. lol. I am having such a good time. He was one of my closest friends. But he cannot figure it out. Laugh at this: we had a friend called Three Seeds! You know him too! He lived on your street. Maybe not a nice thing to joke like this but I still remember all the funny jokes about LJ, W/F and Ruimzeight.
