Hello, just a quick question regarding pedestrian rules. @28:40 the pedestrian stepped onto the road which forced the vehicle with no option but to stop. however, if he did wait would the car have to stop to let him go, or not in this situation since they were arriving at the same time? Would he have had to stop if the pedestrian was earlier before the car waiting to cross. also, would the car's decision to stop be influenced by traffic behind? Thanks. Sorry for the loaded question 😅

Great question and a very important new rule which came into effect last year H2 rule if I remember correctly. Car should give way to the pedestrian as if it were a zebra crossing. This applies in safe and quiet situations where stopping would not cause an accident or major disruption behind. So apply this rule on side roads and NOT off a deal carriageway or roundabout or crossroad. Hope that helps.
