When you perform 22 songs in a concert its impossible to do the full choreo to all the songs. They actually do a marvellous job and to be honest Baepsae in concert is way better than the dance practice plus for award shows they add special dance breaks that are something else again. Performing for around 2 and half to 3 hours they have to think about stamina when performing live.

Jhope (dance captain) has said something on choreo during concerts. It's about the distribution of energy. You have to know when to put more energy into certain parts of a dance than others. Considering that they dance for about 2 hours (with some breaks for solos), that conservation is important. So that could be why the dance practices feel more "on point" I guess. A dance practice day could be maybe three songs over multiple hours with more breaks. I do agree that some should have been switched around in this. Particularly based on which parts of the choreo they chose for the video.

I see how at times their dance go a bit harder in dance practice than live (sometimes), and I think it’s because they’re practicing on dance moves and synchronization. They’re not singing and rapping here so they don’t have to focus on breath control and voice stabilization, which is on whole nother level of difficulty.

Also on live stages, aside from having to focus on singing and rapping their parts, we all know how they gotta keep face like they don't perform all straight faced and they do those little fan service throughout. Plus they often perform more than 1 song when doing it live, specially during concerts when their only time to breathe is when quickly changing clothes and when they give speeches. Their stamina I swear is super great.

As someone who has learned and can perform the Blood, Sweat and Tears choreography, I can indeed say that it takes a LOT out of you. I also learned Boy With Luv and Mic Drop and those also are killer to full out perform. I have also learned the DNA dance..... I regretted it halfway through, but learned it anyways so I can impress people who say it's hard 😂😂 But yes. You're legs and abs will be dead. You will be exhausted and need WATER. And yes, Nico. J-Hope is dance lord.

Jordie Stretch. A LOT OF STRETCHING. This really goes for any dance, but especially DNA. Stay hydrated, and don't be put down if you have to go over one part a million times. Took me almost a month to learn DNA. And plus, practice makes perfect. And I applaud you for learning Mic Drop's dance breaks 👏 I'm still trying to learn that version but it's so hard 😂

A snippet of their dance may not look difficult (to them 🤣) but BTS style ranges widely from hip hop/ break dance to contemporary/ ballet and they add a lot of intricate hand movements as well, so what looks “easy” may not actually be easy. I know if I try any of their “simple” footwork routine I’ll trip over myself for sure, let alone the 6 other people around me. Understand that Blaze is from hip hop background so all the hard hitting performances will be more relatable and more easily recognized as tough but I personally believe their softer performances e.g. Spring day or Butterfly convey emotions that are much more long lasting afterwards (SP has not left the chart for 2+ years). They’re not just a dance crew so we must also take into account their melody/ rap/lyrics to experience the full effect. As others have pointed out, they need to preserve energy for 20+ songs and wbk BTS dont do lipsync so the technicality level does go down a tiny notch which you’ll be compensated for by the amazing on-stage energy/ chemistry. My cousin introduced me to their music. When i was in the hospital (because i tried to end my life) he gave me a paper with a lyrics. English lyrics of I Need You. He gave that to me and said that I'm important and my existence is a blessing. After i got home he gave me again a lyrics. Run english lyrics. And little by little my life change I'm not suicidal anymore thanks to BTS. BTS changed me. They teach me how to love myself, to be strong, to be happy, to have a contentment in my heart and to respect people's opinion, skin color, gender identity and people's choices. Yeah, it was so hard and dangerous they literally had to remove it from the choreography. The new moves that replace it are still super difficult, but the move they had originally was actually dangerous and Jungkook literally hit his chin on the floor pretty hard once while they were performing it.

Yeah, that choreo was so dangerous and difficult it was literally removed and replaced with another difficult choreo that was safer since Jungkook and one other member (I can't remember rn) actually hit their chin on the stage while performing it.

To have you respected dancers give such support and praise to BTS is great to hear! I just realized after watching a few more of your vids. You’re BTS fans. I guess to preserve their energy for the other dances they may have to perform for that show. Even though they are very young they can have injury or get just plain worn out. I’ve seen backstage footage where they have collapsed from exhaustion and other members tell some of the members not to dance full out. What I respect about this band is they listen to each other to help the band stay healthy. Great reaction video!!! Loved it!

I don’t think anyone will ever agree on the order which is why I’m fine with the maker of this vid putty some things very different than I would. But they made they get to express their opinion just like it’s fun to see y’all’s opinion which is why I watch you. The real reason I really love reactions to this video is it’s a really cool way to glimpse all of BTS choreos to date and see and hear the different styles they do. As ARMYs who really love reactions and getting you tubers into BTS we are really very good at suggesting material each reactor will like. It’s fun to connect with reactors that way and fun to get people hooked on BTS and Kpop. The only downside is sometimes they start with a limited view of all BTS does. Videos like this are so cool they show a wide variety very quickly which peeks people’s interest to find out more

The thing with this compilation is that it is best for people who are already familiar with the choreos because they only show a little snippet of it and oftentimes leave out a more complex part probably because the creator of the list wanted to showcase a favourite part of the song/dance. Also, about how sometimes it seems like they go harder in dance practices compared to live performances is probably due to the fact that their concerts are around two hours, so they have to make decisions on where to conserve energy in order to do the whole concert well and still sing live. (they have mentioned it) They have had many incidents in the past where they have gone too far and injured themselves or been so exhausted that they've fainted (because they care THAT much about delivering a good performance to their fans). In a dance practice they don't have to worry about carrying on for two hours straight and instead focus on that one dance and make it perfect.

As a dancer that learnt a lot of their dance practices (i'm in a group and i always have Jungkook's part) i can honestly tell you that even if DNA is hard, i found it "easier" than Blood Sweat & Tears and Danger. Also, this video compilation didn't show the hardest part of every dance, i tell you. p.s. try adding the intro concept to N.O. Then cry because of the energy and focus required. 😂

I think the reason the practice seems better than the live performance is because the camera stays in one spot and you can really see the formation better with the live shows the cameras moving all around you can’t see their legs, there’s close-ups of their faces and stuff.
