Dont listen to the clone haters. Thats my first words of advice. I bought a roller from kingmotor for $340 n put another $1200 into it n my baja is sick. If id done the same with an hpi id have spent WAY more to gain nothin but a name. These clone haters r just mad cause they spent twice as much on their cars n get their asses kicked by a car like mine n use the excuse "you people r hurting our hobbie" Hpi never did me any favors charging sky high prices for their bajas THAT HAD PLASTICS AND MOTORS AND SHOCKS MADE OVER SEAS. Fact people. Live with it. Get a roller clone n put the good stuff in it like I did n get a badass baja for less of ur hard earned money.

that’s the way i feel about it. And they’re not hurting the hobby. they don’t know what they’re talking about. If anything king motor has increased sales on HPI parts. which brings the overall cost down supply and demand. everyone that buys a king motor upgrades to HPI parts most people that buy king motor never would’ve bought and HPI to begin with simply because of the cost. HPI makes more money on selling parts then they do selling an RTR RC by the unit. just like with any RC The cost of the car is the admission fee The real money comes with The purchase of parts and performance upgrades. it’s a win-win for everybody. anyone that has to have the HPI name because it makes you feel warm and cozy inside Rock on👍 But for the rest of us why buy an RC for 1K or more just to Chuck half of it in the trash.

+Mark Dmitri definitely the HPI. If you buy an all alloy car, you most likely will end up bending a lot of stuff. All Alloy cars or made to sit on a shelf and stare at. Besides, HPI is a better brand
