Nice video! But you might want to include in here that the visibility during the incident was terrible. The METAR reported visibility of 1/4 mile, and then 13 minutes after this incident the next METAR reported visibility of only 1/8 of a mile.

If you know anything about the incident it’s clear that the purpose is to show what what was happening and how close they came with the low visibility removed. It’s the best visualization out there so far.

I think there is a chance that you simulation creates more spacing than actually existed. At the moment that SW reports in at hold short he might have been at a dead stop and would not release brakes until the cleared for take off was issued by the tower. You have him rolling through the hold short as he is reporting in. At a minimum he would have reported in further back from the line in case ATC gives him a prompt clearance so he can do fast roll onto the runway and otherwise if no response time to stop at the hold short. If this is the case he is now several seconds further behind and the separation would be further reduced. Scary.

Was this sped up? He said “traffic 3 miles final” but FedEx was landing about 20 seconds later

It would make a good movie scene if it wasn't for the fact that it actually happeed. Sloppy ATC, sloppy responses from the SW Jet, even when told to abort he continued his takeoff. Maybe he was committed by that stage, but then after takeoff, was he then told to turn left as he was turning right!? FFS!!
