Arnold bedankt! I was “helping” my wife to find a replacement car. We were finding it very difficult. This car however seemed to tick all the boxes and your review covered all the points that are important for us. So we took a test drive and I would agree with all of your findings. So now we just ordered a new one! We went for the midrange Connecta mostly for 17 inch wheels, but also added the heated pack and safety packs. It is now very highly equipped indeed. The car was extremely easy and intuitive to drive and we liked all the physical buttons which are exactly where you expect them to be. It will also be her first automaat, finally. Many thanks 😊

What about a comparison with the Lexus lbx you tested
@Carnold_YT2 күн бұрын
Good question, the LBX that I tested was the entry trim level. In terms of interior quality (materials used and fit & finish) the Juke can keep up well with the Lexus. However, in the higher trim levels, the LBX get nicer materials and acoustic glass. Then the Lexus is in a different class - you get what you pay for. Ride refinement, steering and suspension are also noticeably better. But for a calm driver, you won't really get huge benefits if you chose the Lexus. In some points, you might even prefer the Juke because it is a generation older and not overloaded with mandatory safety beeps. When it comes to cost of ownership, the Lexus is far ahead because of it's very modest fuel consumption.

@Carnold_YT oh Ok, thanks. I'm a slow calm driver, just ordered a second hand, but brand new lbx high spec. So I'm OK 👍😄was a bit go doubt, but liked more the refined Lexus. Merci

Its a great car, very nice design. Started to look around for this brand. Specially the Kiiro version of Nissan Juke is kinda unique and standing out among other cars. But not sure its still available or nit! Great video!

Beste Arnold, geweldige review! Dear Arnold, great review! I just ordered the Connecta Hybrid, a stock car. I understand well that Lane Departure can be dropped off through the menu and that it after e.g. a short stop remains and should not be deposited again and again? Because I would find it annoying if you had to drop this off after every stop.

Starter generator is 250v not 12. Its an HSG.

You are correct, strange that I never noticed that during editing. Thanks for your comment!

1.2kWh battery? That won't get you very far without having to run the petrol engine.
@Carnold_YT Жыл бұрын
That's true, and it's true for a lot of hybrids. However, the electric assist really helps to bring the fuel consumption down.
@Bennyboy-dog Жыл бұрын
@@Carnold_YT That's a good thing - I see some actually have 10 - 15kWh of battery. I was actually toying with the idea of putting a generator/alternator on my old ICE engine to add some energy and take it away when braking. I believe up to 5kW can be pushed through the alternator belt, so I figured I can make a very weak hybrid by attaching one of the 48V / 2kW DC motors I have that I could press into service (+ converters to top up the 12V starter battery).but it is a lot of work with unknown results, so I haven't started this project...yet.
@Carnold_YT Жыл бұрын
That's an interesting idea. Starter-generators are common in mild hybrids, but the also require a strong belt and high belt tension. Maybe you can find something at the scrapyard?
@Bennyboy-dog Жыл бұрын
@@Carnold_YT I figured since the standard alternator can deliver 80 amps at 12V (960W), I would just stretch the friendship a little and put 2kW though it. But yes, a dual pulley arrangement would be a better idea.

@@Bennyboy-dog if you don't have a garage full of instruments and you don't do regularly different car modifications don't even think about it. You will lose a lot of time for a shitty result.
