Well, so far it's been a pretty reliable bike to me. I ride it more than my previous bike and it never left me straded. It's a bit more maintenance sensitive - but there simply are no Japanese alternatives on sale here. Cost of maintenance has been the same as my Honda.

You have it looking like new ,but why put all that effort into something that will give you problem after problem ?. Japanese bikes are so much more reliable .

Japanese bikes in this vehicle-class are not for sale over here, the only alternative is an imported Honda that costs twice as much as this Mash (and which is nearly the exact same as my classic Honda that I owned before). So there's the reason I wanted to give this a try. And I wouldn't say that it gives me problem after problem - it never left me stranded or anything, nor does maintenance cost more than on my old Honda. With the points shown in this video, you can greatly improve the quality. As mentioned, I think part of the hobby is doing maintenance and making small improvements.

As a retired major marque motorcycle dealer I have to say your bike on this video, looks like ti is 'crate fresh' ... Well done squire. A very interesting reality that the few if any of the public know is this; Around 70 -75% of a motorcycle's retail price is the cost of the labour required to manufacture it. So when a Chinese made bike is 'cheap'. that is based around it's manufacturing cost. To be frank, most bikes have issues. Not hust Chinese bikes .. China of course makes more motorcycles than every other motorcycle company in the world put together.

Hey Mike! Yes, these bikes are pretty good from factory and with a little TLC they last a long time. I made this video hoping that other owners can take precautions so they don't run into the same issues I had. I am really happy with the changes and improvements, some were necessary (wheel bearings) others were my own personal taste. Last month I rode 2.500 km, that's how much I like riding it.

Can you do a review for Peugeot 3008 ? Then compare the two. CHR Vs Peugeot 3008. Ideally models 2024. What you like what you don't, what feels more family oriented, more spacious, pros and cons on both, maintenance,fuel consumption, longevity, durability,car services etc.Which of the two gets an edge on your preference and why.

Thanks for your question, I haven't tested the Peugeot and I probably won't. The cars featured in the Real Life Car Reviews are the cars that I test drive for my website, and that is dedicated to Japanese and Korean brands only. As it stands, that already means testing, filming and photographing one car per week. I just don't have the time to do more tests / testvideos. Maybe sometime in the future, if I can make a living out of my KZbin channel ;-)

That is exactly what a lot of pro-EV folks tend to forget, not everyone has a house with a driveway or a private parking spot where you can charge your own EV. Or even the fact that most people can't even afford an EV - those plug-in hybrids are ideal in that respect. Thanks for your comment!

Man, my Volvo V40 2017 with D2 diesel got better fuel consumption than this and the taxes are nearly 3x lower(Sweden). Don't see the point in getting this, which is sad
@Carnold_YT
@Carnold_YT 13 күн бұрын
It's a common mistake in my opinion to compare the fuel consumption of diesel and petrol cars, because the measuring system is the same. Both can be measured in liters per 100 kilometer, but the fuels are completely different - how much petrol equivalent would your Volvo consume? In terms of energy efficiency and total energy consumption diesel engines make total sense, I cannot disagree with you on that point. But the reality in the Netherlands is that diesel engine have been practically killed off by politics. Road taxes for a V40 D2 are € 140 a month over here...
@Farekim
@Farekim 13 күн бұрын
@@Carnold_YT My D2 is 88€ per year and this Yaris is 237€. Might be bad comparison because my D2 is still under older regulations hence the cost. Nonetheless, still doesn't make any sense to get rid of yet, since diesel is still cheaper than gas. If it was more like 3l/100km then I would consider it

@Carnold_YT
@Carnold_YT 19 күн бұрын
I'm not sure if the coil is filled with oil, but it certainly can be the case. Usually, ignition components gradually go bad over time, they don't stop working all of the sudden. I would recommend to check the ground / earthing of the coil first. The second thing I would check is the CDI unit, these can go bad pretty fast. Also, check the wiring of the stator, CDI and coil. Do all wires have continuity, maybe some wire rubbed through and is now broken. Let me know if you can find the cause.

you are doing it wrong. the force should be applied to the solid line in the middle of the handle. its not there just for decoration. its the point that represents the exact spot where you should apply all the force so that the applied torque on the socket matches the setting on the dial. there are two pivot points - one on the socket, and one on the pin. if you choke up on the wrench, you apply more torque than the setting. if you move it further as in your case, you decrease the torque applied. although it seems to be just an inch in your case, it still shows that you fundamentally misunderstand how torque wrenches work. iv seen guys use cheater bars on torque wrenches and when i call their mishandling of the tool out they take the piss on me. after showing with a digital wrench that they have undertorqued the fastener almost half the value they look puzzled as hell.

When you bought UCF 10 you didn't afraid of air suspension. A lof of people say its better leave the model with it. You have any problems with it?
@Carnold_YT
@Carnold_YT 25 күн бұрын
Only my very first LS400 had a broken air suspension strut when I bought it. Because of that, the car was very cheap. I had to buy a new strut from Lexus, that cost 700 euro, while the LS costed 1400 euro. But I never had any problems with air suspension. It is important to do the right maintenance, then it will last a long time. Most of the problems with air suspension come from lack of maintenance. I made a video about it, I will post the link below.
