2023 I am 55 and walking through memories of great bands and music in my life. Real Life "Heartland " album was special even by 80's uber creative and eclectic standards. This band was different among many different bands. I get why so many of the generations after us gravitate to "Our" music..it was fearless and free of so many of the tethers that confine so much of the music that has come after. It is always great to come back and listen to the "good stuff " besides the flood of memories it is simply fantastic music.

This is the music. We used to go to the pubs and see band's like this what a great night back in the day. What a shame it's all gone. Not many dickheads around on them days. Dance all night no interference just a good night. F.Wits not tolerated, they got sorted out real quick. Bye bye good old days.😕😕🍺👍🇳🇿

Soon to be 42 and I can absolutely relate to a lot of the comments being posted. I remember jumping around like a frog in a fuckin sock to this one with my mates at the blue light disco trying to impress the girls lol. Had some of the best times of my life during my teenage years in the 80's, wish I could go back and do it all again and while I wasn't a big fan of the new wave/synthesizer stuff back then, this song was an exception. Marcos Vazquez Thanks, and way too many to mention them all here. Directing and editing wise - John Farnham (3), Margaret Urlich (3), Peter Andre (2), Tommy Emmanuel (3), Savage Garden, Noiseworks, Dragon (2), Roxus, Richard Clapton. Rick Price, and plenty of others.

Maurice Todman Awesome man, I hope you enjoyed working on all those projects, 'cause that's what matters most. What would recommend someone who is interested with the industry to do?
@mozman111110 жыл бұрын
Marcos Vazquez Find people already in it, and depending on what you want to do, offer to do stuff for nothing. Somewhere along the way, someone's going to pay you in the end. If you want something badly enough, you'll find a way.

The beginning of Fluorescent clothing. I remember this. Anyone remember the fluorescent zinc cream you could buy just like the video clip. Persons at the beaches were smothered with fluorescent pink across noses and cheeks. I wonder if they got the idea from persons drinking in the clubs at dark after spending hours in the Australian sun where you couldn't wash the stuff off your face. Ahhh, the memories. This is awesome !! Thank you for this. love it.

I had an amazing experience with this song one night in february '11. I woke up in the middle of the night around 2AM and started listening to this song on my iPod. I was half asleept-hat weird state of consciousness where you're aware of your surroundings but not quite in touch with reality....and as I heard the lyrics "there's a face before my eyes their closed but I can recognize the danger!" I became terrified because I actually thought there was someone there in the hallway.
