This duel mode is the best hidden blade engineering I have ever seen, although it is bulky when a hidden blade is suppose to be thinner. But damn, that price is giving me a stroke, both plastic and metal! 😂
@ahlatagaci20182 жыл бұрын
*_One single idea and two questions_* *_Idea:_* Suggestion on re-design and addition of this kind of hidden blade. Except that more practical and modernised. A hidden blade which is actually hidden. Fully covered in black in and out, every single part being painted black regardless of material, minimum design (just has to look like a black box), whole model as thin as possible, transparent ring and rope, transparent arm bands, leather outer layer instead of plastic and the inner mechanism being covered and protected of full metal box layer, therefore it can pass through the X-ray machines without showing the exact shape of blade, less suspicious. Also a safety-lock that activates with a manually pressed button, which is a simple gate that opens and closes in front of the blade tip. Therefore it can also prevent accidental injuries. With safety ON, it will just look like a black box and with X-ray it will just look like a black box with solid straight metal inside. The safety system might have a dim light indicator which is not differentiatable from a neon light. The safety system might be made to activated only by the host by a simple fingerprint, and also through the hidden-blade control software linked from phone app, which you can remote-control the safety-lock system, therefore nobody else other than you can use it without breaking it. The app would be enlisted and only be available through a link that would be emailed while buying the product. Breaking it would be nearly impossible since it's covered with a strong layer of metal inside which works both as a protection and X-ray distraction, and because of the strong plastic the “box” is made of. Generally, it will look like a thin black box with a hidden finger-print screen and a very small dot of white dim light. What do you think of my idea? *_Question 1:_* Do these non-OTF mechanisms you made in general, like Altair scissor blade, this one and electric version work underwater? *_Question 2:_* Also, in these mechanisms, do blades stop when they bump into an obstacle (at least a plastic)?

No, it can not. Aluminium slide on aluminium is not smooth. But aluminium slide on plastic is very smooth. Even hand watches use ruby bearing to make it works, not fully metal smooth
@corruptionman15852 жыл бұрын
Won't the friction of the aluminum on the plastic damage the plastic over time? In most high-performance mechanisms friction occurs between metal parts, I believe that to solve this problem it would be enough to periodically lubricate the parts in contact with a little oil.
