KNOWN as the “real life Rapunzel” everywhere she goes, 34-year-old Malgorzata Kulczyk’s hair measures an incredible 5ft 2" in length. Born in Poland, Malgorzata is currently a student in London and is the only one in her family to have such long hair. Malgorzata told Truly: “There is nobody in my family with such long hair. I had long hair from when I was seven years old and I started growing my hair when it was knee length." Malgorzata posted images of her long hair on Instagram and was surprised by people’s reactions. And when out in public, people stare at her but don’t give Malgorzata any hate. She said: “I meet people on the street and they comment - but mostly nice comments!"

It's length and health is beyond impressive, but it's a bit too thin for a wig. They could cut the length in half and layer it, but donation places are too picky to bother and most the time they sell it to companies rather than give it to people that actually needs wigs (who actually prefer synthetic that are readily available). I don't think she should donate it at all! It's gorgeous as is and it'd be a shame to cut it.

I agree that no-one should pressure this woman to donate her hair. Why would they want someone who obviously loves their hair to sacrifice it, especially when there are plenty of people who don't care about their hair. There are plenty of people who do not want long hair & can grow it with the intent to donate it, people making those comments should think of doing so themselves. However there really is a need for hair donations, please do not misinform people. Also many people, especially those who have alopecia or hair loss prefer real hair wigs. Most people choose synthetic wigs for the price as they are cheaper. If they could choose a free wig, most would choose real hair as it looks more natural, feels more soft & has more styling options.

@Blass It'd take a lot longer than 15 minutes to fully brush and get all the tangles out of her hair, even if she were to braid it the night before to try to prevent them. For most girls/ women, it takes that long for a normal length of "long hair" of above the waist and hers is down to her feet. But you're right about everything else. I just feel like the part about them being dumb didn't have to be worded so rudely even if they are dumb or just uneducated. I'm not trying to be rude or anything though, just stating my mind. Ppl who keep talking about her ends. She just probably doesnt want to cut them and realizes they are a bit frayed and uneven. My hair is half of hers and I hate cutting my ends because it feels like I'm going back to square 1 in growing it out longer. Cutting it does promote future hair growth but you know 🤷‍♀️ it's all about how I'm feeling atm

There is the Biblical mandate about women looking feminine (and men looking masculine) to honor God's distinction between the two sexes. One of the most fundamental ways for women to do so is to grow their hair long(er) than men's hair (or fuller, in the case of certain hair textures). I'm middle-aged and I don't do more than trim my hair, which I haven't worn short in twelve years and is now down to my hips. But my total height is 5'2", the length of Kulczyk's beautiful hair! I doubt mine could ever get that long because my terminal hair length won't allow it. It would also look too fragile near the ends, even though it's still fairly thick. This takes a lot of dedication; more power to her for keeping that glorious length.

Happened to me... I started having a large forehead and my hair started falling off like crazy as soon as the length crossed my hips... And I am 5'8. So, I went bald and donated it. Now, I'm happy with my pixie.

My hair is just at that point past my hips when you start to accidentally sit on it and its driving me crazy. I don't know how she can deal with it around her ankles like that. I'm too clumsy and would be constantly tripping on it. lol

Good for her! My hair grows super quickly, and I am fortunate that I have natural dark blonde hair with NO gray at all--not a single one. Good genes. My Dad at 80 also had no gray. I keep the length just below my hips. I own a ranch and wrap it up under my hat, or braid it up. It just wouldn't be practical to have it longer. I had it knee-length for a while, but got it caught in a car door, and that was scary LOL!

Love her hair, I wish I had the longest is knee length. However realistic goal would be classic length. I am at hip length in long layer so I have a few more inches to go ☺️ her hair is healthy and thick love it.

This was so lovely to see and the style really suited her. Not to mention that I love the fact that she sees a black, natural hairdresser to help her style her hair, but her ends do need a trim though, as they are a bit thin and it will help thicken up her hair. I'd also be curious to see her hair care routine. Like what products she uses and what protective styles she wears. Lovely content.
