It's because of the percussion/claps tracks in the song and that add a lot as well

The tracks and claps make it sound so nice but the patterns of the drumming are the tricky part.
@ag12rb4 жыл бұрын
@Isai, it is specifically made for the track. Perfectly fits the genre of the piece. (Also with the help of mix) Trying to input something different from the original might sound weird. Might wanna check this out: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qHWlcmeEgd2hopY&lc=Ugg84S5myDI5_3gCoAEC&ab_channel=JohnsonGeorge No hates to the referred video but that is what I'm talking about.

Looks like he had a trigger next to the snare's mic
@steventurner16286 жыл бұрын
Pieter yeah now he has 2 triggers on his snare and I think one on his bass drum. It’s for some songs so they can layer claps with the snare due to so many songs having claps. Pretty sure they’ll also layer a sampled snare on top of the acoustic snare he has just to fill up the sound.
@SammyDumanauw5 жыл бұрын
if i'm not mistaken he used those triggers for gate. no wonder all the drums he played always sounded huge and sounded so close to the record :)
