I met my husband October 2005, started dating November 2005, knew we were getting married by New Years eve 2005...He "Officially" proposed May 2006 (our 6 months ), and we're Married September 2006. We have been together and happy ever since. So far 17 years married, 18 years together. I hope these 2 are as happy in 18 years as they are now. Marriage is work, but the outcome is beautiful. WHY is it that some these Grooms have the worst Best friends/men? It's a bad indication that they can be so influenced by a person who has nothing to lose in the process? It's not a JOKE and when the groom accepts the responsibility of planning the wedding you can't tell me they haven't discussed before hand what SHE likes/doesn't like and type of dress's she likes? I've seen a couple of these shows where the groom wants to fly guests to a destination and it NEVER works out because you've intentionally chose to offend and alienate family and friends! Ibiza should've been for the Honeymoon just for the 2 of them and not to share a week alone partying with your old boyfriend and fighting on the street before the wedding? Did he really had to sacrifice her guests because he wanted a free trip to Ibiza? Why? It happens every time that someone decides to cut the guests list. Those people are in the guest list for a reason. It's basically sacrifice the big part of the budget most to fly to Spain, with 15% of guest left, for no reason that those two wanted to go parting there (and wasting money for the wedding that's it's supposed to be for the groom and bride hot for the groom and the best man who was the only person who enjoy this experience the most).

Even with the blessing being different day location she should be with hubby not best man and it would only be him to continue to keep the secret. First place if you can't afford a destination wedding don't have one. When you get engaged that or before than both parties should ask what their partner wants in a wedding. Then you should make sure that within that first yr you have saved enough for said wedding as well as having your own place. Just because some parents allow you to shack up in their home doesn't make it right. If you are old enough to shack up and or get married you are old enough to have your own place. Start small until you get what you want. But the better solution is have your own place before you ask someone to share your world apartment home or rv doesn't matter as long as its yours than build together.

After the wedding, just leave the bride 👰🏼 ♂️ and then leave the guests without at least arranging a champagne reception or something similar! 🥂 Impossible! At the ceremony in Ibiza at least the bride 👰🏼‍♂️ had a bouquet 💐, but the bridesmaids got nothing again! All in all, I've seen a lot nicer weddings.

I got married at 18, it ended in divorce but the difference is I had my dad and my family, he is basically alone and has no parental guidance, he had dreams to bring his love back from where they met, it was a beautiful idea but sadly not that simple. Reception in r backyard i made 6 cakes sisterinlaw did catering catering food cost 400 drink 400. I wouldn't of changed anything except longer honeymoon that was $1000. Total wedding 1300. We just got a house so it was on a budget
