First of, LOVELY vid and nice game, thanks. Real played awesome, we usually have a stupid defence but I think it was solid. And all new arrivals played in complete harmony and I love the way Gaystiano and Higuain played together. Real simply owned in this match defensively and attackingly. Mallorca just had a good keeper, defense and overally, a better luck. I'm sure Real will dominate this season, EVERYONE played so freaking awesome yesterday.

OK..we plaayed well..especially in attack but i think the decision to start with Di maria and Lass at defensive midfield was wrong...Ozil and khedira should have started..when they came in there was a lot more drive and intensity from midfield simply to the fact that khedira is very good going forward and lass is very defensive..ramos should have played his wide position and lass drop centre..di maria should have been on the bench..but all in all..defensively we look sound..first game.no worries

madrid actually played very well.. but the wrong decision was di maria & canales starting and ronaldo playing on the right... benzema should have played the right position and either marcelo or ronaldo should have played the left.. the defence looks a lot stronger this tear, but still, we don't have a left back yet; marcelo is better at the midfield as he can hold the ball...

@delima985 He had more than just 1 chance.. And the defenders weren't that rough, there are way worse defenders even in the la liga. The defenders didn't even commit that many fouls on Higuain and I found the referees quite right in their decisions, even giving RM the benefit of the doubt (the offside call on Mallorca ) so you shouldn't blame it on the defenders or the referees but Higuain's inability to convert, even if it was under difficult circumstances. Good player though.

@WowRoguest What are you talking about? Benzema doesn't pass? Dude, Benzema is all about passing, he said it on french TV. Watch more of RM's highlights, Benzema has more assists than you would believe. Not to look too far in my memory, watch the highlights against Club America and tell me if Higuain wouldn't have made the shot on that first goal. Well anyways, your post was so poorly written that I'm not even entirely sure of that you're claiming, so I'm gonna hold my horses on that one.

@CMachuCa53 hmmm, look up some zlatan highlights and you'll see that shot go into the net back when he was at inter better yet, notice how crappy that shot was, messi's shots go in, messi's dribbling actually beats his defender instead of tap dancing in front of him for a few hours, i sure hope messi doesn't try a useless technique like ronnie just did

@chapinchulo1 there was nothing wrong with the perfomance apart from the finishing..mallorca put 9 men behindd the ball and there goal keeper was excellent..higuain could have scored 3 times..ronaldo could have scored twice...another day and we would have won the match..its the first game of the season..we play barcelona twice not 38 times..jheez man..we are just focusing on us

@tenseman08 about 75-80% of madrid's trophies are 50+ years old. madrid arent very successful as of late other than back to back spanish titles 3 years ago. the last 10 years have been few and far between
