Real North Malta walking experience September 2023 Pt. 2 (from St. Paul's Bay Harbour to Bugibba)

Join me on this hot mid-day stroll along the beautiful bay of St. Paul's in the northern part of Malta.
Today we will take on quite an epic trip, going all the way from the village of Xemxija to Kennedy Grove on the edge of Qawra.
This extended walk is approx. 8.3 km (or approx. 5.2 miles) long and it should take us about 2 hours to complete at a leisurely pace.
To make it more manageable, we have divided this walk into 3 more bite-sized strolls, so this video will be episode 2 of 3.
We will begin this part of the trek at the mouth of St. Paul's Bay Harbour and then move along the main road, into the heart of St. Paul's Village. At the first opportunity we will move away from the main road and onto the coastal road, as this is obviously much more picturesque.
Part 2 of this walk will end in Buggiba Bay, and have a distance of approx. 2.1 km (1.3 miles).

Saint Paul's Bay, with Buggiba and Qawra, is a very uninteresting place for tourists in Malta. It looks very sterile here like in some tourist ghettos in Spain or Italy. If you want to really get to know Malta, you have to book a hotel in Sliema, San Giljan, Mellieha or Valletta. The side streets still have the old, typical Maltese flair with wooden balconies and quaint little shops and pubs.
