I tested it and I can for sure tell you this is a placebo effect happening here. I didn't get more or less lucky on my rolls overall and it just evened out in the end, the first few taps were certainly crit rate crit damage but from my overall rolls just tuneing randomly Crit rate and Crit damage actually themself have a high % chance of appearing, def and hp being the highest and crit rolls being right after it which in fact is somewhat also being resembled in the collected data already but here is the thing, the data is in fact skewed towards good sub stats. The data isn't actually focused on a controlled focus group which data to be valid and accurate has to be, it's more a community collection and usually in those, people who are unlucky with the method do not input their data and the people who do and got lucky will do so. You are right btw that RNG is never truely RNG and clock time is one of the factors that can be a factor of rng calculation, this is a fact in computing BUT the clock isn't the only thing influencing RNG, user Input and most likely in this gacha game your account Seed matters a lot in RNG calculation and my assumption is due to the account seed it seems that some people are lucky with this rng manipulation and some aren't. RNG can be manipulated but I think each person has to track their own RNG with clock data, inputs done and account seed to get an accurate result for each person. If this method works for you it's great btw, RNG is never truely RNG in computing!

so it's not emphasized enough but this method DOES NOT GUARANTEE anything. it does however, increase your chances of getting double crits along with other useful lines such as heavy atk%, basic atk%, energy regen and sometimes atk% (these are the more prominent lines that appear during x7:15) this also means that you are not exempt from getting the other unwanted rolls such as def/hp but the chances of the sub stats mentioned above have higher chances. it sounds like tinfoil hat territory but after testing it myself i have been getting more double crits (consistently as well) than i have previously from launch until this information started circulating. I highly suggest trying it for yourself to see since you would have been tuning at random times anyways. you lose literally nothing.

Consistently getting atleast 1 crit stat on x7 minutes with 0,15,30,45 seconds. X means any digit with ending number 7 like 07,17,27

After using the spreadsheet i can tell its more consistent to get crit on minute “X7” (not multiple of 7) 90% of my echo substat pull has at least crit rate or crit damage

To put it simply, something like 8:07, 8:17, 8:27, 8:37, so on. The seconds matter as well, or so they say. It's all in the spreadsheet, and some values vary with server region. No one actually has proof if this works, so you might just end up wasting resources if you do straight x3 tunes.

@@runkinronut3605 I don't think thats correct... x7 in my mind just equals to the MIN. The seconds do matter even the mili-seconds acoording to the spreadsheet. Reading the spreadsheet they the study/experiment goes by intervals of 5 though they like to use intervals of 15 seconds. So 7:00, 7:15, 7:30 etc.

I didn't bother mentioning the milliseconds because no one, even with the clicker tool, will realistically hit those marks, specially when you factor in ping and who knows what else. The whole thing is probably BS anyway.

Thanks for the video sir, we are very strict with data that is turned in actually. We ask for time together with image. The current sheet says how we avoid confirmation bias and cherry picking. We try our best but human error still happens regardless.

It seems to be working for me. I just built my ChangLi set and out of 200 tunners I only rolled DEF and HP three times. 4 pieces that have both Crit Rate/Damge on them with rest being offensive rolls of some kind!! My Changli is going to be bonkers!!

I think there is one more variable (ACCOUNT number). This sheet works great for me, but not that well for my brother. I also get a higher number of 4* on banners when there are 3 equal numbers on the final digts of the clock, for example "07:12:22", can't proof it though.

I actually tried using UNIX time when tuning. Every time it ticks 7, I get crit rolls and no flat ATK, DEF, HP stats.

I'm saying this works tbh. 9.9 Crit Rate roll at my first x7, then flat atk and atk% rolls at the same time on my first x9.

I'd say it works. I tried it with 2 celestial sets of +20 echoes. Used the x7 minute range and my Jinhsi now got double crit 5/5. The rest either got 1crit or none at all.

hmm, Well at least i need *40-50% crit rate and 2k Attack * for my carry DPS like Calcharo , yes i have skill issue a lot, also my RNG sense is so bad. i have not clear ToA Hazard 30 crest yet. thanks to this Methode, the Crit rate of my void thunder set has Raise up to 62% . although i haven't clear the 30 crest, due to lack of dmg because i still using 3star Guradians blade. hehe

if you're on PC, can use Rainmeter to overlay it on top of your game. if not, just look at a digital clock on a browser or on your PC clock.

Iv tried this over and over and over again and i can say without a doubt this does not work. Still get tons of junk rolls like flat hp and def and hp% and def% has shown zero improvement on my rolls so I would say this is bunk.

Start rolling at X7 minutes (not multiply by 7, just the minutes ends in 7) then roll every 15 sec (e.g. 9:17:00 pm, 9:17:15 pm, 9:17:30 pm)

try playing on windowed mode, and if your monitor is 1080p, scale down the game to 720p. can open a resized browser with digital clock or install rainmeter to overlay it on top or on your desktop.

Everyone but the first guys are doing it at the X7 and X9 minute marks, which means all the data we get is heavily biased. There's no way Kuro would use unbound by ID minute mark as seed, not even an indie pixel art game does that. This is just superstition, survivorship bias and confirmation bias.

Update: Tried it several times and only got 1 crit roll, and it's a low roll. Therefore I conclude that guns just has better luck.

i have done over 15 echos so far and using this method has been giving me, not just cr or cd, but double crits more consistently than i have been doing since launch up until discovering and trying this for myself. do not mistake that this is gonna give you 100% chance but the chances are in fact higher when tuning at those specific times

the way to think of this is "rate up kinda sorta maybe idk", but by an infinitesimal amount. The reason this could even be thing is because it may have to do with how Kuro generates random numbers, where server time is possibly a variable in the algorithm. IF you're bored and have time, why not. But also don't go crazy over this, ppl who "swear" by this sometimes border on astrology levels of cope and confirmation bias. Projects like this suffer from the imbalanced dataset problem, where some times are tested/have more data than others, coupled with the fact that it's all self reported + ppl more likely to report successful rolls. As of writing of this comment, 47% of Total tests are for the one time that's supposedly 'optimal' for crit rolls. It wasn't that extreme when the original vid dropped and a bit more spread out. If we got this data via API like how we can for pulls, would be way more conclusive.

@@indyvidual3917 i agree about the cope but as a realist, i can confirm that this method has been providing me with the exact rolls as advertised in the videos consistently in a small test pool compared to a bigger pool that has only managed to roll 2-3 double crits thus far. and then there are others who confirm this as well. sure the data can be skewered and taken with a grain of salt due to ppl maybe only reporting when they get the good rolls and not reporting/counting the fodder. either way there are other dedicated individuals that are testing for data's sake and they are also confirming everything that is now public knowledge. 100% worth the try because like you say, it's essentially a pocket rate up event which requires nothing to test and try
