I don’t know if it’s just me, but I can always tell when the drinks are cake. They just don’t have the same realism as an actual drink.

Part of the problem is the lack of shine from the plastic. You can tell that's a solid piece of colored chocolate and not a drink in a cup because it's too dull.

She’s talented and all but I kinda agree. The only reason I got them correctly is if it’s perfect then it’s not a cake. But she can still improve. She just needs to mind the details eg. the soda, the cap was not smoothly made and a bit messy and crooked. The body of the bottle also does not match the shine of the plastic on top so you can easily catch the difference.

Literally, plus you can't just put non edible things on them like the wrapper and plastic. Proper realistic cake artist make those things. Like "plastic" out of sugar or gelatin. And the wrapper with an edible printer. That's definitely cheating. Even if it was obvious
