It's kind of weird, but even though I know which are real and fake there are some that just look fake to me. Like if I was playing this game without prior knowledge, I'd think they were fake. Rilaboom, Staraptor, and Dhelmise are some of the ones that just seem a bit off. Maybe in the way they're drawn. I guess you could say they're like animals/Pokemon that evolved (irl evolution) to be more like humans.

This is the first time I've seen the Fakemon and as someone who is a bit more caught up with pokemon, i was fooled several times by this list- and a lot of the ones I got where because I knew them. From artwork and design, these are very faithful to the pokemon style! A part of me wants to come up with general criteria to be able to differentiate them, but i feel it would be very hard to find an all-inclusive criteria (and pointless - they're very cool designs, no matter how much they blend in with the official ones)
