I’m doing a diy centerpiece for my wedding I’m using roses (blush pink and cream) and white hydrangeas! But I’m not sure if I should do silk or foam. Between these 2 which look more elegant once set up in a centerpiece??

Thank you for this video. When I need to cut down artificial flowers I never throw out the stems. That way if I need to use them in a way that calls for longer stems I can still use the blooms. I just use a tiny bit of hot glue on the inside of the bloom and wait for them to completely cure before moving on.

Use the fake flowers in pieces that are at a distance but use real flowers on center pieces or pieces that can be seen close up

Thank you for sharing this valuable information. I'm just starting out and needed to hear this. So far I use mostly silk flowers because they're easier to work with and can be reused. Im allergic to certain flowers so I avoid them when possible.

So much good information! I have used real flowers for a a couple of very small events and a funeral but found it very difficult only because of the storage issue. Thankfully, it was early winter and I could keep them outside overnight. The flowers were so much cheaper over-all and if I had the space, I'd love to have the refrigeration storage for fresh flowers available. But time saving convenience, I'd say are the silks.

Omgoodness I can't waite to have that center piece on my dining room table it's gorgeous and I believe I'll be using fresh flowers in the winter for the smells and the silk in the summer to keep the bees away thank you your amazing

I was going to sign up for your academy but I'm not really interested in promoting my self.. retired and like taking it easy. however, I do small events every once in a while and do love your arrangements and advice....what do I need to do if I want to purchase some items...oh yeah my very weak area is backdrops I would and I am sure there are others who would LOVE to see you diy this...you make it look will easy . I prefer fake flowers. Real flowers come with real allergies and can have an over powering smell. You don’t want your wedding or party to smell like a funeral. Not to mention they are expensive and could welt making your decorations look bad. As long as you go with a good fake flower that doesn’t look too cheap you’ll be okay. Plus they can be used over and over again.

You do such beautiful work. I’ve Lear Ed so much from your videos and have gotten some really great ideas. I love the smell and look of fresh flowers. But I’m on a budget for my upcoming wedding so I’m using artificial for my centerpieces and bouquets. I did choose the real feel flowers though.

SOME faux FLOWERS HAVE holes on top of the flower head to detach from the stem is it possible to buy just the stem replacements instead of the whole flower??

Both fresh and silk flowers are great to work with and look beautiful when arranged. The key to real flowers is educating your self there is a lot to learn about preping, handling, and storage before an event. However, they are much stronger than what persons think,lol if you properly prep your flowers before arranging them your arrangements can last a long time. I leave in the tropics as an event stylist I get my flowers the day before the event I dont have a cooler to store them, but i prep them properly, make my arrangements and take my already made arrangements to the venue, I dont make arrangements on site. If no one takes the flowers at the end I may take home one arrangement and it lasts for days without me even adding water to the oasis. I love silk flowers but was having issues in find a good wholesale supplier that had great quality and a reasonable price, so thanks for links you left in the description box 👍😁

Do you ever have brides that want to give the centerpieces to their guests? My sister had a lot of help from church members and family with her wedding. She gave her centerpieces (candles in domes surrounded by a silk flower ring)to everyone that helped out.

Hi Sherly 😍👍, I've really enjoyed watching and listening To you sharing your thoughts and experiences about your beautiful God given talent I've learned a lot, but a tip on the stems being to short and having to buy new flowers, my remedy is to use floral wire and floral tape to attach to the shorter stem to achieve your length it really works just choose your wire gauge size that will get the job done, TYFS 👍 until next time God's willing be blessed !! The cost of good quality silk flowers is expensive. For about the same money you could get real. Me personally, if I was having a wedding I'd want real flowers on the guest tables. Fake for other flower decor that's far away. Like ceiling etc.

JOHN 3 16 the beginning GOD made man in his image who we know is Adam. When Adam and Eve sinned sin entered into the world. Sin equals death. His blood is perfect and can take away all of our sins. blood will be required at the end of your life because of your sins and if you do not have an atonement for your sins (who can only be jesus since his blood is the only requirement) you will go to hell forever
