Mike Tyson's peekaboo style version was not what Floyd Pattersons or Jose Torres' version was. Tyson was WAY more physically fast, stronger and agile so his hand being lower is what he used to accumulate the power shots that he threw. There is a big difference in hand placement.

as professor said, it was tysons take on it from his time as a street fighter. coach carm is the ONLY coach on youtube who has explained the principle of 'making the opp feel pressure to throw' this analysis changed my entire outlook on this style. Thank GOD for this man speaking the truth. From all the holy books, it is plainly said if u want to be hated speak the truth.

I know Sayf doesn't have to do this, but sometimes he HAS to make these bold proclamations to prove a point; namely that he knows what he knows what he's talking about and he's been doing it for a LONG time. So for him to say, "I dare you to..." or "you will never find..." people in this day and age are used to being spoken to in SUPERLATIVES and sometimes that's the way these guys learn. Thanks, Sayf.

It seems to me that, after the MMA era, Tyson disregarded his own boxing skills as useless. Maybe it's wishful thinking on my part, but I think there could some real life applications to what he did. I mean, if you make people miss, they're generally at your mercy. Tyson's kinda old (not everyone ages as good as Sayf), and doesn't seem to care about all this stuff anymore. We need other people to apply this style to the streets.
@TheUmmahFightCamp6 жыл бұрын
Bobby Fischer: Thanks! lol! I DO have many aches and pains though :). Tyson was one of the few fighters who would HAVE to be shot if he decided to fight you, me or anyone else. He was REALLY that much to handle.
@bobbyfischer6046 жыл бұрын
@@TheUmmahFightCamp I mean, you not only look younger, Sayf, no discussion, but also your mindset is that of a young man. One can feel your excitement about fighting in general. Plus, you seem to be open-minded and open to new ideas and possibilities; also, you speak your mind without fear of people judging you. When I hear Tyson talk about his past, unfortunately he doesn't seem to care anymore at all, and, unlike you, he seems to want to please everyone (maybe because of all the shit he went through back in the day). The Tyson of old though was a damn pitbull. Like you said, you'd have to shoot the dude LoL!
@TheUmmahFightCamp6 жыл бұрын
Bobby Fischer: YOU were so on point brother! I literally cry when I see Mike trying to make up for what he did in the past. I just want to tell him to forgive himself. No one is perfect and what people have said about him has been so hypocritical. I bet child porn collectors were laughing at his voice! like WT....! And I DO care what people say and think about me, but I give too damn much to homeless and mentally ill people everyday to lose sleep over a person's opinion of me. Know what I mean?
@wojciechjanuszewski71566 жыл бұрын
I think that it has nothing to do with MMA. Mike Tyson had supreme skills, but his boxing wasn't about skills, it was about mindset: being a conqueror, Alexander the Great, nietsche's ubermensch, and so on. Just read "My life with Cus..." That's how Cus d'Amato formated his hard drive. It was the source of his victories but also great suffering and antisocial, hedonistic conduct. Man nearly destroyed himself. It is not strange to me that he doesn't like violence anymore.

Tight Defense Cus D'amao: I laugh at people like you who comment in my forum but will not allow for a reply. Now I will address you because it is YOU and your kind that I am talking about as frauds and have been for 7 years. First, no, I do NOT have any Catskills connection and NEVER claimed to. That is my point, you people think sniffing the under arms of Cus makes you an expert and it does not. Cus had Floyd Paterson and Jose Torres and NON gave him the satisfaction he wanted until he was HANDED a black boy who was 12 years old, 190 pounds of muscle. After that he was used by virtually every white person who came into his life with perhaps the few people like Cus, and Rooney really loving him!

Tight Defense Cus D'amato: Now for what I am: I am a man who has used the peek a boo bareknuckle and gloved for over 45 years. Sparring all comers from 16 to 22. Not only I, but black fighters better than me who taught me used it in the street LONG before people like you ever heard of Cus. Yes, YOU and those like you have ridden the tail of Mike Tyson like the parasites you are. You never cared about Floyd Paterson or Jose Torres! You only cared about Cus AFTER Mike Tyson who had a style totally different from Floyd and Torres. The peek a boo, like the Philly Shell was not created by blacks, but we have used it in ways that you have never seen. It is NOT yours, nor does it belong to Cus. It is time you frauds are exposed for the fakes you are and I am dedicated to doing it.
