The idea is that they are both in the station at the same time and just keep missing each other. However they wanted the character the player was using to be the one progressing the game.

The 2nd run doesn't differ from the first enough, BOTH fight Birkin underground, BOTH open the Garage outside, BOTH solve the plugs, and BOTH fight Stage 3 Birkin and watch Annette die. That shouldn't be possible. In the original's B scenario, Mr.X showed up, not being in the A scenario at all, among other differences

You realise that when a zombie stops moving after Jack shoots it in the head, it's not completely dead? It's only fully dead when it's head explodes, otherwise it will just stay still a while and get up later. Shooting them in the legs makes sure they are permanently slow. He explains it around 11:10.

@@megashark1013 While not completely wrong, you *CAN* kill a zombie without blowing it's head up. Just knife it when it's on the ground and cut all it's limbs off and most of the time, it stays dead forever. On hardcore though, limbless zombies can still come back and shimmy up to bite your ankles, even after they stop moving for awhile. Also, if you've unlocked the infinite knife and/or handgun, you can test it yourself even more easily. Some advice, even for a standard run without infinite knife/handgun, is to shoot the zombies leg off, then knife it's other leg off and if it's still moving, you go for the arms. Saves you so much ammo, you won't know what to do with it all.

I think I can get where you're at with Mr. X scaring "-the absolute shit" out of you and I could come up with 3 reasons right now. 1.) HE'S Huge! And pretty much almost covers the entire space behind him, creating suspense. 2.) He's always on your tail, leaving faint footsteps like a reminder that he's always 1 step ahead of you one way or another (Direction Wise) and will be in the shadows you've crossed by within' (previous walkthroughs). And 3.) He's Unpredictable within your reach and that's the advantage he has, that makes him out-right Intimidating! :) *Note:* The players who know 'RE' on a very substantial basis; would consider this Irrelevant. (Which is you I might perceive) So in retrospect, this is probably your reason. Or at least I think it is. The one example that comes into mind that could resemble Mr. X's enticingly petrifying nature could be: Jason Voorhees or perhaps Michael Myers and plenty other horror phenomenons! But these currently I.M.O.P are the factors; that takes the cake. I hope this gives benefit to your metaphor, or a Mutual understanding to your thoughts! Have a good day!

Jack if you wanna waste granade launcher ammo on normal enemies or bosses use the acid ones (the ones you can craft), save the fire ones for the plants. And remember "BLACK AS ASH". Also the acid granades work wonders on Lickers, because they are skinless bastards. Also also flash granades are really effective against Lickers they get disoriented, remember they FLASH but they also BANG and make their ears cry.

one thing you can't do in this mode is overthink the fact that even though you play on the other side of the story, some things just dont make sense, as far as continuity is concerned, with things Leon would have done by the time Claire shows up in an area. Also a few tips for anyone on Lickers and Mr. X: Lickers WILL NOT attack/chase you if you WALK!! They may seem like they will attack when you get close, and it's very unsettling if they get right up on you and you just stand there, but they wont do anything unless you make significant noise, i.e. running or shooting. With Mr X. i have learned that as long as he can see where you are he will keep chasing until you completely break visual contact and minimize noise from running and shooting. There are scripted areas that you will meet up with him no matter what, and some places that he seemingly will NOT enter. Safe rooms are essentially that: safe from enemies, unless of course an enemy happens to follow you through the door while it's open. Lickers have been known to jump through open doors as they chase me sometimes when i run through a door and it hasn't shut behind me. Although they can't open ANY doors. At least in the PD, the safe rooms i am aware of are any room with a typewriter (excluding the Main hall), the clock tower, and the STARS office. one last thing when you get the "Hiding Locations" roll developed, go to the STARS office and check the desk that had the battery TWICE. that was a little thing from the original. you had to check a specific location about 50 times to get some kind of Easter egg. jack might not get it but anyone else familiar with the series definitely will.

The flashbang SHOULD work well on the lickers, because contrary to popular knowledge, flashbangs mainly deafen the victim with its extremely loud noise, rather than blind it with its flash. In video games they blind you, because removing hearing isn't nearly enough of an advantage for them to be effective. Lickers rely on their hearing, so they should work well. Just watched the part where Jack didn't know if the flashbang would work or not at about 19:05

Idk why people don't realize that they deafen you, every time you get flashed by one in game you can hear the *BANG* and the ringing. Also they are called flash*BANGS*

Flashbacks do work on lickers though. You get a record for it (deafening a licker), and they're stunned for a second or two before they start wildly flailing about attacking. Not the best idea if you're trapped in a corridor with one.

4:15 actually, shooting padlocks and chains (as usually shown in movies and games) would never actually work. especially at such close range, the bullet will just ricochet off the SOLID METAL DOOR and injure her. it's the same as when people rip pins out of grenades with their teeth in movies; that would never work LMAO

Chris wrote a letter out of charater as a clear intention of warning. Just as Claire knew that wasn't something he wouldn't write, people at STARS would know too, since he mentions Jill and Claire he probably means for Jill to look after his sister because things are getting nasty and he needs help, meanwhile he doesn't want one of his buddy in there (maybe he suspects something?). I figured that out because of the line he says "You guys can imagine all we did under her big UMBRELLA" and like... why not a room, sheets or whatever? to mention an Umbrella as something he was using to make out was a bit off under the way he was putting the scene in the letter. Chris knew that anyone who got the card would shrug off, but STARS would know shit was up and he needed help, just like Claire immediately knew that was not something he would write (even if she didn't know how to get through the letter)
