Chrissy to my knowledge most black people “wash” their meat 😂assuming your conversation was with a non black person. I was raised to wash my meat in a black home, however I’ve since learned how Caribbean people clean their meat and I prefer that way now ❤

@renny504 It's meat. Whatever it is, you're washing off, have been marinating on the meat for days, and have already penetrated through the meat. The only way to avoid this is to become a farmer and a butcher and to farm and butcher your own meat.

You should wash all meats, fish, and or shrimp. Ground meat is the only meat that does not need to be washed. Please put it a bowl of water, with a little salt, and look at the water after. Self explanatory

I wash meat and sometimes marinate it in vinegar and lime, or lemon. It makes a difference in the texture and taste. Beef can have bone fragments or other masses in it. Chicken I also cut out some fat, feathers or other unwanted things.

In the Caribbean, we wash our meats and fish with lime or vinegar. Season well and let it rest for hours or overnight. We do not cook meat or fish without cleaning and washing it.

If you wash and seasion your meats and let them marinate in the fridge overnight or a few hrs befoere cooking, you might be surprised at the taste. Just a suggestion.

My youngest daughter loved school and she’s in kindergarten. My oldest who’s in 4th grade she was telling her sister school isn’t what you think it’s not fun lol . They don’t like waking up at 6:30 am 😂. I’m like nobody does but mommy and daddy we had to get up for school before lol . I loved kindergarten and you nap too . Momma loves naps lol 😅
