Hi everyone! In this video, I show you the real & raw (aka imperfect) day in the life of running a handmade shop as new Etsy sellers. The main point of this video is to encourage you to get started now with what you have, and not wait around until the timing is perfect and you can invest in making everything run as smoothly and beautifully as you'd like. The sooner you get started, the sooner you can get some cash flow in your business which you can use to fund your business, getting a nice workspace, hiring employees, and quitting your job to work on this full time.
Don't forget to hit subscribe if you run a handmade shop or are interested in starting one, I put out videos every single week sharing tips & strategies to help you start and grow the handmade shop of your dreams!

This is just so nice to see and hear as a perfectionist struggling to push forward with my new business....even though it's not all perfectly perfect 😒 Ugh. The struggle is real. Thanks for this lovely reminder. You being so chill and confident is very reassuring. And I've gotta say, as a Mama myself doing this, it was SO nice hearing the kiddo being a kid the background. I was like, she really does get it! Great inspiration to keep moving ahead. Respect. 🙏💛✊

You have great 💡 ideas! It is amazing you've only been in business for 2 months because your packaging is so professional, beautiful and geared toward repeat customers. 🥀Thank you for taking the time to make these ever so helpful videos. I am 🙏 grateful.

Thank you so much for this!... I can’t even begin to tell you how refreshing it is to not only listen to you. But to go to your Etsy shop and see that you don’t have 100 different listings!!!... That for me has always been one of the most intimidating parts. (Thinking I’ve got to create all sorts of stuff). I do have a question about finding suppliers- Is this something you’d recommend doing right away or waiting a while to see if the items even sell first? Also, how much inventory would you recommend starting off with? For example: You’re Candy Cane Sugar Scrub- Did you have these pre-made for your launch? If so, do you remember how many you started off with? I’m sure you can’t make things too soon due to the ingredients. But I’m just trying to get an idea. As that’s another issue I struggle with. If I make too many crafts and don’t sell, I loose money. But if I don’t make enough items and I’m not prepared/not able to keep up with inventory, then that could potentially end my business before I was even able to get it started! 🤪🔫
