It was in '94 in WCW when they met, they stayed friends after "Jean-Paul Levesque" jumped ship and became "Hunter Hearst Helmsley"; this story is from around '95, which is why Hunter started using the Pedigree within around a month of his debut, and the early Cutter finish is a trivia point for videos like this; they just used a famous '97 Nitro Diamond Cutter clip here to illustrate the point...

Jon Moxley/Dean ambrose has used a better version of the dirty deeds/paradigm shift outside of his time in WWE. In this version, he hooks up his opponents shoulders just like he normally does, however instead of dropping them immediately on their heads he lifts his opponent off the mat, and drops them on their heads.

Another things that wasn't mentioned about the pedigree is that HHH tried it in house shows as a double underhook tombstone type move. The problem with that was that the 2nd or so wrestler it was done on injured his neck so he adjusted it into the pedigree we're all familiar with.

What Wrestlelamia didn't mentioned about Randy Orton was that the third-generation wrestler formerly used the top-rope cross-body and the awful Overdrive as finishers in the early days of his career. But I thought Orton's cross-body was as graceful as my wrestling hero, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat.

I think they should allow Orton to punt kick in special circumstances. Like if he gets a match against Jacob Fatu or Solo Sikoa, and he is going to win, let him land the punt kick for all the trouble he has had with the Bloodline, and injuring him.

Even though I couldn't recall ever seeing it, I knew Shawn's original finisher was a side suplex. (which is what it was called, not a tear drop) This is because in an old WWF video game, that had Shawn in the lineup, had him using it as the finisher in the game. In regards to Cena telling Tyler Reks that he needed to stop using the burning hammer, one of the things thats never talked about is that happened not too long before Brock Lesnar made his return to the company. Arguably at a time where the only people aware of brocks return would be the top brass and the top talent that would be working with him when he first came back. I would argue that the burning hammer as Reks would deliver it (which usually saw his opponent flipped over and land in a DDT like position as opposed as the traditional death valler driver) looked more like an F5 than the AA.

Shawn Michaels should be awarded $1000 each time the Super Kick/Sweet Chin Music is used. And yes, I’m looking at you Usos 😂😂😂😂

I'll always remember HBK used the Tear Drop Suplex because of the Monday Night Raw game haha...what a classic. That was the first wrestling game I ever played, I didn't play Royal Rumble and wrestlemania (not to be confused with the terrible 'arcade' style fighting game) until after that. Classic haha.

You should do a list like this with wrestlers using good finishers and switched to terrible finishers.

I thought HBKs initial finisher before the Sweet Chin Music was a Figure Four Leglock?

Rollins being stopped from using the Curb Stomp because it could lead to too many concussions, but then using other moves that involve smacking a guy's head into the floor is 100% Vince logic 🤦🤷🏼‍♂️

Y2J: Running Bulldog--> Lionsault-->BREAK IT DOWN! Walls of Jericho!!! Best three 'peat of moves with impact done with velocity, accuracy, and above all, believability. (Edit) Razors Edge and Kryptontite Crunch are the best finishers ever for singles. With a chair...Van Daminator/Van Terminator

Yet another reason to hate Cena. How can you complain about a move looking too similar to your own when the FU was just a plagiarised F5

I find it hard to imagine in the current climate that Priest would admit switching the move for Cody

Cena once a prick always a prick. He will always have a mark against his name burying talent, crying to vince on and on. He was the modern day of the Hogan.

Can't believe that "Cena didn't want a move similar to the Attitude Adjustment" theory. From all we know, Cena is a good guy, and saying something petty like that to a new guy, when he himself started doing the FU to mock Brock Lesnar's F5, and also poached the Code Red, the STF, the Fameasser and the Blue Thunder Driver over the course of his career, would be such a cunt-move that it feels out of character for him. I think he just generally believed that the move was too dangerous for a green guy and that he would hurt somebody with it sooner or later. That's still patronizing, but it feels more like something John would do.

while full nelson face buster or skull crushing finale looks great, Jericho's looked awkward probably because even with lifts he's a short guy and you need to be at least same size as your opponent if your hooking them like that. Also a Razor's Edge power bomb not impactful enough...BS. The crowd was either dumping in Sheamus or they were afraid he'd hurt someone because he would occasionally do that.

Don't attack with your back while leaping off the turnbuckle. And don't leg drop a ladder into someone. Hurts the attacker more.
