Is it a Regiment of Real Robots or a Real Regiment of Robots? I guess we'll never know. Just like is Super Robot Wars a Super War of Robots, or a War of Super Robots? What I mean is, they probably didn't think that far ahead and just put in the coolest robots at the time.

The game's name is Real Robo Regiment. That should mean there would be only Real Robots (aka robots which are like giant humans made out of metals, using real weapons like laser guns, pistols, machine guns, missile launchers, swords just like Gundams and similar beings), but there are Super Robots in the game as well (Super Robots are like humans with super-powers, super-weapons, like the Super-Electromagnetic tornado of Combattler W, Rocket Punch from Mazinger Z, Open Jet of Getter Robo, Sun Attack from Daitarn 3, God Voice from Raideen and so on).
