I will pick one up. Here in Germany you can get the Luna for around 80€

Nice to see a slipjoint review even though I don't carry one. Good looking knife.

Looks great. I have been meaning to get a nice slip joint. I travel in Asia just about every year and slip joints are the only option.

I like it... I just wonder how easy (or not) it is to remove the pocket clip... Can you help with that question? :)

I've just picked one of these up, titanium with n690. It's my first experience of Real steel. I'm very impressed. This cost me £77 from H.H. The finishing is absolutely first class. I know titanium is very hard to work with, hence why a lot of makers leave the scales etc in a kind of unfinished state (Spydiechef?), but what RS has done to this knife you really would expect from a high end piece, it's gorgeous. The only reason this knife is available for this price is because it's manufactured in China. If this was a USA knife it would be x2 or even x3 the price, easy. Nice review buddy, both thumbs up 👍👍

Nice looking rig and a great weight. No lefty love though... I'd have to pull the pocket clip and just let it drop to the bottom of the pocket.

Or you could get a pocket slip for it. Maybe some darker leather or something from DP Leather.

Paddy's Potato Peeler's uses a magnetic thumbtack he attaches to the back of a blade to give it a better photo angle when lying on the table. Instead of laying flat, the knife faces the camera. I guess you could just use a small magnet, but the magnetic thumbtack seems like a classier way to go.

Atlanticknife.com has them on stock for 99 bucks. I'm going to order one tomorrow. They also have 60% off on their Al Mar knives. The eagle with honey jigged bone handle scales is only like 65 bucks. That's a bargain. If Aus 8 is heat treated right its not a bad steel at all. It strops up nicely.

No left-hand carry option = no deal. I love the Real Steel Terra, which is another Poltergeist design and fully ambidextrous, so I don't know why they couldn't manage to do the same on this one.

Bummer. I like small knives. I'm not too fond of knives without locks. I have a spyderco pingo - I'm definitely conscious of it not having a lock.

Pivot should resemble a full moon hence the name Luna
@esoteric52775 жыл бұрын
Then what about the Terra? Methinks they called this one Luna because she's a sweetlooking little thing to accompany you on leisurely evenings, whereas the Terra's more of a badass big MF for hard daily use😜
