With regard to the thumb studs, please look on eBay. They are a couple of quid on there. That’s more than enough for a small screw. Companies that ask close to ten quid are price gouging.

Got this as soon as it came out. Lovely knife - light, sharp and friendly-looking. But watch the clip, I snagged it lightly on my jacket and it snapped clean off!

This is the best one I have had. I have the carbon one and this is put together better. Watch the pocket clip as I have broken the one on the carbon one and you cant get spares! Don't do what I did and put it in my back pocket, caught it on a seat and snapped it. Still, it's such a great cutter. Can't get over the price! A1.

Glad to be watching your videos again. Nice knife..Got away from hobby for a while. Was in UK for 17 days last summer. My Dads family is from Cork in the south but Northern Ireland was incredible.. Giants Causeway, that crazy rope bridge I went across. The country side is gorgeous. We were in Normandy for 75th Anniversary too. Hope all is well. I’m checking out older videos too.

I bought the White Mountain Knives exclusive of this in jade G-10, and the sticker on the box says G10 red Heinie exclusive. There is a WMK exclusive sticker over the end of the box. It was $23 US after using LTK discount code from his channel. Since it’s jade, I might dye mine blue.

Hey patty if you want a better way to open it with your thumb... take a small drill bit about the diameter of the fuller and break off a piece of the tip 1/4” long. Get super glue and put a drop in the fuller where your thumb would sit comfortably if you were to use a thumb stud and set it in the fuller track. Boom! Thumb opener! It’s barely noticeable and looks good. I do this with all my two hand openers with a nail nick or fuller.

Could not agree more. Had mine for 10 days now and it is an absolute beauty. My triumphant of UK legals is currently the ukpk in 110, the Boker Plus. XS drop point in 440c and now the HH Luna in red scale D2. Nothing is ever perfect but as a UK resident these are all outstanding. Does anyone know where can I get a Hinderer style stud for the Luna? For me a close UK 4th place on a budget goes to the Boker plus world legal. Unbelievable lockup, and Aus 8 is a lovely steel to sharpen. Some call the spring strength dangerous. For me it what makes it safe. Horses for courses I suppose. Good luck with the Black Dog Paddy, and keep up your great work. My expanding collection owes you a great deal, and counting.......

I always carry my Ladybug.In Belgium people can't carry a knife like the Luna unless they have a very good reason for it.

Waiting for mine, I've been watching the Luna carbon fibre for a while now but haven't been able to justify the price since I have a lot of similar knives. This was a no brainer and if I like this i might pull the trigger on a carbon fibre. D2 steel is fine and keeps the price down, but I think a £60-70 S35VN/G10 exclusive would be just as welcome to a lot of people.

No arguments from me Paddy, I saw Al's review of it Saturday, sent them a question about shipping and had a reply early this morning. The Luna is now on its way. I have one of those thumb studs on my GSlip too, from memory they are a spit over the 3" cutting edge but with a Paddy's patented finger choil would be legal.
