I think it’s dope and I like how you can adjust the volume of each stem so you don’t have to completely remove it but honestly Serato does it better. It’s processed quicker and it doesn’t crash the entire program like MPC stems does at times. Hopefully Akai will work out all of the bugs soon. Standalone will be a game changer if done right.

U gotta go to the crank aka setting symble in the right corner top and switch it to follow...i had the same problem..lol..

Iight my guy, I hit it and only see "Link slices", "loop Lock" and "Zero Snap". Do I have to highlight something specific or be on a specific screen before I hit the Crank at the top right?

So how'd you get Stems on your MPC and it's not available for standalone yet !? 🤔
@qmakesbeatz7 ай бұрын
It's hooked up to my PC via controller mode.

Top right in main menu..

I feel like you can get away with using stems 95 percent of the time as long as there’s other things to draw your attention away from the flaws
@qmakesbeatz7 ай бұрын
Exactly. Some of the flaws may even create a unique texture in some cases.

you need to to hit record to record. mpc has retroactive record. much faster!
@qmakesbeatz7 ай бұрын
I tried it and it's cool, but I still prefer to hit record and perform the sequence.
@bboymac847 ай бұрын
@@qmakesbeatz seems slower with the same results. Especially if you found a rhythm you already like before you hit record 🤷🏾♂️😁

@@bboymac84 yeah, it's slower but I enjoy the process.
