General Saheb, I wish I could sit in front of you and listen to your accounts of your military life. Your stories remind me of my late father, may his soul rest in peace (as he passed away app 35 years ago). He was also from Artillery and left the Army in 1967. He volunteered to fight in 1971 and was stationed somewhere near the Lahore border. Our true patriotic soldiers, of whom there are many, did so much for the country but these few Bajwa and Faisal Naseer types have done colossal damage to the name of our Pak Army very unfortunately. In 1971 I was a student in WPUET . Two Bengali,s were my colleagues and always they talked very aggressively in class. One of them was living in Hostel adjacent to my room. After speech of Yahya Khan about cacellation of NA session in Dacca he immediatly came to my room and said "Ajmal mark my words ;we are no more part of Pakistan". Now after 50 years an Engg professor in USA gave me remarks when I said him probably you guys were right but we still regret as you were real Pakistani,s who left us alone instead of leading us. He said " I agree with you . Though we made lot of progress but Muslim Ummah was weakened.". I really felt so good they still feel their brother hood with us.

I live in the US and I've noticed a remarkable change in Bangladeshi attitudes toward Pakistan. In my younger years, every time a met a Bangladeshi, he/she would say negative things about Pakistan, but now almost every Bangladeshi I come across expresses love for Pakistan. After 1971, Indira Gandhi boasted that two nation theory has been drowned in the Bay of Bengal. I wish she was live today to eat her words.

Veteran Capt.(R) Muhammad Pasand Janjua was recalled & posted in 40 field. He was father of my friend Javed Akhtar Janjua Marhoom. This unit , popularly, was referred to as " "Chaalees Chore". جناب عالی میں اپ کا مشکور ممنون ہوں کہ آپ نے بہت وسیع ترین اور سبق آموز علم سے نوازا ۔ میں اس بات سے 100فی صد اتفاق کرتا ہوں کہ پاک فوج ایک پروفیشنل آرمی ہے جہاں بھی اندر یا باہر سے ملک پر مشکل وقت آیا تو یہ ہی فوج سیسہ پلائی ہوئی دیوار بن گئی ۔ مگر میرا ہی سوال ہے کہ پاک ڈیفینس فورس غداری کرنے والوں کو کیفر کردار تک کیوں نہیں پہچاتی۔وہ دندناتے پھرتے ہیں۔ اور ان کو بڑے بڑے عہدوں سے نوازا جاتا ہے۔ مثلا بھٹو کو قتل کیس میں پھنسایا گیا جبکہ غداری کیس میں نہیں۔ جبکہ ہائی ٹریزن کیس بنتا ہے۔ آج جو بھٹو کے نعرے لگاتے ہیں ان کو نشان عبرت بنایا جائے ۔

i am not sure if you will read my message but i just post anyway. I can see you feel proud when you take about war with India , i saw two wars myself i was 4 years old when we have 65 war and almost 10 when we have 71 war, i born and raise in Sialkot so you can understand how i felt living in Sialkot durning war. 1965 India drop a bomb on Kila and my father clinic was there so it got some damage. 1971 India drop a bomb on bus station which was that time front of Railway station , India wanted to drop on Railway station but they drop on bus station where three bus were ready to go, full of people and you can imagine what we have to lost, i am sure same thing maybe happen in India. as a child i saw really sad and i not only thinking about the people die from Pakistan side i was thinking about those people who die from India side ,I was thinking about their Mother Father their children sisters and brother . one person die left so man people behind to cry. is there any way we can clean our heart from each other hate? is there way we forgive each other? can we sit down and find a batter way to live? can we stop fighting and killing each other beautiful handsome sons?

It was fall down of Pakistan and it's a saqoot-e-Islamabad but it is not fall of Dhaka. It was rise of Dhaka. Its a fastest growing mega city in South Asia. Pakistan and Pakistan Army officially surrender in Dhaka in 16 Dec 1971 but Dhaka did not surrender. Pakistan was surrender both way politically and Militarily in Dhaka. Don't be emotional because East Bengal was never a part of Pakistan but it was a colony of Pakistan. Bengali people and East Bengal were treated as 3rd class citizen and burden of Pakistan. Pakistan never treated them as equal. East and West never were a brother, its a misconception of Pakistan and there were no brotherhood policy in Pakistan, Relation was like Owner and slave, Don't you know that from 1947 to 1971 Pakistan systematically took all the revenue and resources from east Bengal. After 24 years of partition why in 1971 East Bengal became as 2nd poorest part in the world. Still Pakistan doing same unhuman injustice with Baloch people in Baluchistan. So don't be emotional because its not just for you and its not suite for the people of Pakistan. Thanks God Bangladesh has been saved in 1971.Almighty Creator is a great planner. Otherwise Bangladesh would had been situation like as Baluchistan or Afghanistan. Pakistan should release the chief justice Humidor Rahman Report on 1971 war. People of Pakistan should take right education from the right sources and should correct the history paper of Pakistan. Game of Throne among the Punjabis Army in Pakistan has been going on last 75 years, its a Great Show on the Earth only get to see in Pakistan, hope this will long for next 75 years.
