For those that don't know. Salford = just because you're not involved, it doesn't necessarily mean nothing's going to happen to you....

Salford is a massive red area of Greater Manchester. The city of Salford is wall to wall red, very few City fans live there. My dad's family are Failsworth and New Moston (North Manchester), which North Manchester is massive Man Utd area as well. Mancunians and Salfordians, twin cities, and brother's they are 🙂

It's well known that Man Utd is (strictly speaking) NOT in Manchester.

@@joysboy6588 Old Trafford is not in the Local Authority of the City of Manchester. But it has a Manchester postcode, and Manchester in the address. Stretford was part of the old parish of Manchester. Also Man Utd originated in Newton Heath. Anyway, try telling someone from Stretford that they are not Mancunian, you will get a bloody nose. Mostly reds in Stretford, but some blue too. I wonder what the city fans from Stretford call themselves 🤣🤣. Trafford is Manchester. One day it will officially merge into Manchester anyway as Manchester expands. Salford its own city though. Mancunians and Salfordians, twin cities and brother's they are 😊.

@@johnb9624 😊 some of these city fans moaning about lines on a map 🤣. Read my comment above mate. Trafford is Manchester. 😊 I am sure you agree mate. City fans obsession with old Trafford not being in Manchester 🤣🤣. I mean lots of City fans in Stockport and quite a few in Tameside, but will the City fans call them Non Mancunians? 🤣🤣. No the city fans will not

The ruination of Salford started when they destroyed and ripped the character and heart of Salford in the 1960s,so much beautiful architecture. Can you believe we once had a Racecourse sadly, called Manchester race course it closed in the 1960s Can you believe also there are Roman remains in Lower Broughton but because its Salford it does not matter.❤

HI love your videos but can I make a suggestion could you not tell us what streets and roads you're driving or walking on for those of us who grew up in the area but cannot recognise all the changes and those of us who are not familiar with the areas you are showing us really appreciate you showing us these videos thanks a lot and keep up the good work.

I was wondering whether or not we should include street names. We'll keep that in mind, thanks for the suggestion, and thank you for watching.

@@my3rdeye896 Thanks for the reply I grew up in Salford around Oldfield Road facing Salford Royal Hospital I was born in a public house called the Julie's then we moved to Cheetham Hill on Esmond road then I went to live in Whitefield and now I live in Italy so a lot of these areas have changed over the years and watching you walking around and driving around these areas it's hard to recognise any of the streets and all the changes but it's great watching your videos and trying to guess where you are keep up the good work most appreciated.

You couldn't even walk to Brydon Close (my auntie lived there in the late 70s early 80s) after school hours without getting into a fight if you were a young male and not from that area.
