Discovered this channel recently. Ken you’re the freaking man! Can’t wait to stop by the museum, I was given an XR70 for Christmas when I was little that my mom bought from a neighbor. That bike changed my life.

I didn’t have a father figure growing up. I had friends I met street skating, and they were my influence. As an adult with my own son ImTruly inspired by these types of stories, and yours really registers with me! I hope to inspire my son the way you’ve encouraged others.

yep, a false sense of direction is: buying things you don't need to impress people you don't know or care about (or the bank owns them anyway). Better to focus on being the most excellent in all you do in life and having faith

You have lived quite a life. It's great that you share your story, so that people might gain some insight from your knowledge and experience. I have a feeling some people might see a muscled up dude riding motorcycles and not really understand the amount of depth you have as a person. You are a testament to what can be accomplished through continuous improvement, hard work, and perseverance. I'm 49 now, and I've been reasonably successful in my life, but I still look for any opportunity to learn from others whenever possible. I echo your sentiments on faith, sobriety, and working out. All are extremely important.

My social worker, a very kind hearted, dedicated, and talented man, like yourself, that is passionate about his job and working with people, to make a difference with their mental health and substance abuse issues, used to tell our group all of the time about Dave Ramsey. Thanks Brother, for making a positive impact on me, as well as so many other people. As much as you help me, just watching your videos, and listening closely to you, I could only imagine how big of an impact you would have on me, and so many other people, if we were able to hang out in person. You're a business genius brother, and a very religious, wise, and Hardworking Man. We need more people in society like yourself. You're a True Gift From God, as well as the rest of your family, and employees. All of your employees smile in your videos, are very happy and grateful about their job, along with having so many positive, and greatly informative things to tell people, which Makes me know that you are a very good and very fair boss. It would be a privilege to work for a boss like you, if I were able to hold down a job, because there are so many bosses out there, in high Positions of Power, that shouldn't be in a position of power, since they treat their employees like shit, they're unappreciative, never give their employees any appreciation for what they do, and the main thing they lack is Humility. They forget who they are, and where they came from, because they live in their own fantasy bubble, that the average hard working, tax paying person can't relate too. They've lost touch with reality. Your kids are amazingly blessed for having a kind hearted, unconditionally loving, selfless man and provider in their lives. I hope one day, somebody writes a book, or makes a movie about you. You have a huge positive impact on everybody, that remains teachable, and are willing to listen to and follow your advice. God Bless.

Growing up with a very not ok childhood, Kaplan is a breath of fresh air and the role model I need to get where I want to be, I'm 21, almost 22 and have been flipping cheap cars, mopeds, plenty of 80s Japanese bikes. It's been up and down for me but I know one day I'll get where I want to and need to be, working on bikes getting them running taking something and putting a part of yourself into it is what I want to do, the art of the deal and the excitement of the find is a endless chase lol
