In today's video I go to eat traditional African food in a restaurant called the Kenkey House in Croydon, London.
This kitchen is specialising on SOUL FOOD such Ghanaian, Nigerian and Afro-Caribbean. Most people is coming there for takeaway, but I want to get real experience and eat inside this restaurant with my hands as is tradition in some parts of Africa. Andre, I am a Ghanaian with a Polish partner. just to inform you that the shopkeeper should have told you to eat with your right hand. As Ghanaians we consider eating with the left hand as being an insult. Also the shopkeeper would not know what Ugali is, since it’s only eaten in East Africa.
