Beautiful!! I don't know why many people think contemplative life does not bring others to Christ: I've learned and grown more through their example and the writings of contemplative monastics, than through anything else. They are a great force, through prayer and their writings. They keep the Light and send it silently into the world.

Just receive Gods greatest gift, that's Jesus Christ the son of God. One is not saved by works or self efforts . Jesus Christ death and Ressurection is what saves us and fills us with His Holy spirit just by asking Lord Jesus.

Many people don’t realise that the life of “CLOISTERS “ is also a one dedicated to God . They spend their life praying for the church , for the faithful , the ones who have gone astray. The religious life varies , some serve the sick and poor ( Mother Theresa ) some are into education ( Jesuits ) ( Salesians ) and some live a life dedicated to prayer ( The nuns of the visitation ) Continue to keep us all in your prayers dear sisters . God bless you all ! 🙏✊

I’m not religious, However my mother is deeply religious, And I occasionally visit, the grounds are beautiful, it is so peaceful up here, I even snuck up top and walked around, and visited where the nuns were at rest , it’s a shame it’s off limits to the public, Because I found that a very spiritual experience, this place is beautiful, anybody that visited would at least feel that spiritual experience, I highly recommend visiting 😇😇😇😇😇

The Order of the Visitation of Holy Mary began in Annecy, France. I was there a few years ago where it all began. I have also been to Paray-le-Monial, where St. Margaret Mary, a Visitation nun, received the twelve promises of the Sacred Heart. And since I live relatively close, I look forward to visiting the Tyringham monastery when this plague is over.

Dear sisters. I have the greatest respect for you and your order. Your inclusive policy on vocations should be an example to all the other orders that Jesus is the one doing the calling and should NOT be interfered with. Your devotion to Mary is also so very inspiring as she is in a way the mother to us all. I pray that your order swells in its ranks and that you someday come to Norway?!

thomas really kind of getting tired of hearing about what real nuns are because they were habits or those who don't have met many nuns who don't wear the habit or just as beautiful and godly and serve the Lord with gladness it doesn't really matter if they do or if they don't want their lives submitted to Christ yes that's all that counts

Interesting. I never imagined a convent or nuns to exist as such. Nice complex, building and seeminlgly comfort, like a military barracks. Although, the spirituality does not come through to me? I mean as I have seen a few of the other convents on youtube it certainly projects. Still, what is the truth beyond the act and show here? The video I believes misses that point. Good presentation in a secular sense.

God can be sought in different ways and not necessarily this way of living and isolation with a dog.It is the first time that I see a male dog living with nuns in a monastery;it is surely bizarre.I think it should not be part of a monastic life.

Idolatry is akin to prayer?
@michaelcaza-schonberger92827 жыл бұрын
The way you treat them one could easily claim you're guilty of idolatry! The Jews and Protestants second commandment (found in Exodus 20) is the prohibition of graven images, you pagans don't flow this commandment!

Mary can not interceed for us. The only intercessor is Jesus Christ
@sandrasanders7066 жыл бұрын
Jesus Christ is God and He is coming soon again oh yes he is coming back soon but I don't pray the name of the father and the son and Mary she is an intercessor in heaven Hebrews 11 says that but there are looking over in the balcony in heaven after us getting too just sitting there waiting I doubt it
