The other 3 pin plug coming off the cdi unit is for a tachometer I’m pretty sure but you don’t need it, it just shows the rpm of the engine when it’s running

100% I'm building one at the moment and it's not needed to start the engine, but it does help a lot with tuning the engine by getting the timing and idle right.

Adjust release chain on the pallet jack will fix it. I used to rebuild hydraulics.

First thing to do after any engine build is to turn it over by hand for a couple of turns ..make sure its free and not binding up ...

The machining on that scale small block is absoloutely exquisite. 2 large isn't cheap, but alot of precision machine work, scaling, mechanical drawing and attention to detail went into manufacturing that puppy. I want one.

Dang! I was hoping to see that thing do some burnouts! The micro v8 is super cool! I wish they had those when I was a kid. Maybe they will make some more modern gas engines, could make better mechanics than we have now.

Yeah, it's going to get in the way of too many components (suspension, diff, drive line) it's going to be crazy work to get that fitted. He'll have to come up with a custom clutch too.

That engine is absolutely adorable lol Could fit it in the Raminator and make a really scale model of the full size monster truck. Probably wont have nearly enough power, but it would look really cool lol

Kev, Smart move using Castrol.👍 Make sure you run the engine super rich during break-in. I do believe with the other two you tried in the past both fell victim to running lean, that's when you run in to problems.😏
