It is such a pleasure to watch your videos Brenna, your life seems so joyful. I just discovered your channel, and glad I did. I have not come across any videos of others that are traveling around Australia, though in the US they are two a penny, the majority taking to the road for economic reasons, rather than by choice. I am keen to visit the State and National Parks here in the US. I love seeing all the wildlife and wild flowers you show, thank you for sharing. You are such a good mom to your pup!

Great Video Brenna. I would go nuts constantly packing up and unpacking stuff and looking for safe spots to stay every night. So much for the "simplicity" of van life. Very glad I don't do this full time, though enjoy it for stints of up to a couple of months in my car. Choice is the key to our happiness I guess, but so many enviable elements to your lifestyle. Your van is really cosy and I love the wood. Thanks for the insight, without the glamour and mythology that so many USA videos aim to portray. What a fabulous day you enjoyed with us. Abbie seems to be enjoying a fabulous life too. You have such great presence and a lovely laid back style, in front of the camera. The time and passion you devote to your videos is very much evident! Informative, entertaining and enjoyable!

I know that I am VERY late to comment, but @finaludbrook8193 ... yes to "not as simple as it might seem" ... My experiences have been over 18 years in an "all mod cons" motorhome in the U.S. ... trips from overnight to 7 months ... approximately 30K miles in the U.S.: north to south, east to west, northwest to southeast. Even though I can pull over anywhere there is space for me (34 feet plus 15 feet of Jeep tow) and be comfy, it was always a relief on a travel day to know that I would make it to my A,B or C destination. As you said: choice :) I found Brenna as I am thinking of downsizing and so looking at different options and experiences. Brenna, you are GREAT at telling your story and your reality and authenticity are lovely and inspiring without making me feel like every day will be "beachy" :) Thank you and cheers!

This is the first van life I have seen in Australia and in Perth where I live. Sadly travelling is no longer an option for me as I’m not well and quite disabled. But it’s been a treat to see the wildflowers and around Corrigin. I never get to go places anymore like that or camp as I used to do when I was a youngster. It’s been so very satisfying to watch you and the dog having an adventure. I think you are very brave and I’m going to enjoy watching your travels from now on. Maybe I can’t do the same but my pleasure is no less watching you and the dog and I will get to share the view. Thanks for that I forgot how wonderful WA is. It will be great to see where else you have travelled in your easy to watch videos. Xx

Hi Brenna. This one bought back memories for me. I’ve been to Gorge Rock a few times. Have also been to the dog cemetery. And although I was born in Corrigin, we lived about 40 miles west in a tiny siding called Aldersyde. I’m stationary at the moment, but hope to travel again next year. Too many commitments and a couple of young grannies keeping me grounded for now. Love your videos and have taken on board some of your tips and ideas, thanks. Cheers. Faye, in Pinjarra.

Hello Brenna. I hope you're doing well. What a day you have. 💙 I think it's pretty cool. Thank you for sharing a day in the life of Brenna with us. I also want to thank you for all the hard work and time you put into your videos. They are truly awesome. All your hard work is paying off. One thing you could do with your solar panels so you don't have to keep pulling them out and going back out to get them then the same when you get to the next spot. You could really save yourself time and energy if you get them mounted on the roof of your van, they are made for the outdoors it's not going to tear them up at all, I know a lot of KZbinrs that have them attached to the roof of their vehicles. Just think about it. Solar panels on Roof, then all you have to do is plug them in from the safety of your van. I hope you at least try it. Thanks again for an awesome video. KEEP ADVENTURING GOD BLESS YOU 🤗HUGS🤗

*sniffle* The dog cemetery made me cry Thank goodness you followed up with those gorgeous wildflowers! I notice you do a lot of driving on dirt/gravel, and have a couple of questions - 1) does that increase the wear and tear on your tyres, and 2) in these days of nasty weather, does that curtail your trips? Thanks heaps for these videos - really informative about the day-to-day details of vanlife.
@BrennaLivingJoyfully2 жыл бұрын
The dog cemetery really was touching 🥲. To answer your questions: 1. I have no idea how the gravel roads affect the tyres🤔 2. I try to drive away from nasty weather as much as possible or if I can’t then I just snuggle up in my van and make the most of my day. 😊

What did you end up using for the insulation in front of the van. I tried nano tape in my car But it did not work.

The material tape I used in the video is still holding strong 💪

Just discovered your lovely self and your videos. Just wanted to ask...your blue water container, is that easy to use? I have one that looks very similar but it's really stiff and awkward to use. ..but the size is ideal and I can't find another one that works better.

Welcome 👋 The tap can a little stiff but I have gotten used to it. I will probably add an automatic tap on the top soon though.

Are your walls and roof plywood. How did you install them
@BrennaLivingJoyfully Жыл бұрын
Yes they are 3mm plywood and they are screwed into batons that are screwed to the van.

Hi Brenna, where do you stay at night for free in WA?
@BrennaLivingJoyfully Жыл бұрын
I use the Wikicamps app to find all my camping. Tons of free camping especially in the wheatbelt

A question! Do you leave your solar panels out when you go for a walk or do you lock everything up?
@BrennaLivingJoyfully Жыл бұрын
It depends on where I am. I make a judgement call each time.

@@BrennaLivingJoyfully thanks for that. I have just found your videos and am enjoying watching how you do things, particularly the day to day things- cooking, curtains up etc. Thank you!

Hi Brenna 😊 do I remember correctly that you and Abby went to Tassie? If so, was there a favourite place to explore/visit, and how did the ferry over go? Did Abby stay in the van? What worked for you both? Thank you! X

Hi Dusty, we spent 5 months in Tasmania last summer. There are so many wonderful places that I liked for different reasons depending on my mood. The ferry was great and Abby went in the kennel with no problems. She was actually very happy to go in on the trip back so it couldn’t have been too traumatic the first time.
