Just proves his professionalism. I do emcee/hosting for various events, weddings, conferences etc.. I also use different tones to suit the atmosphere. I can be serious, solemn or fun when it needs to be. When I have a mic on my hand, I talk more powerfully, clear, concise. When I'm not hosting, I rarely talk unless spoken to, and my voice is soft and quiet. I keep to myself.

I think most people have real voice and "social" voice. Social voice comes from your mind, It show your positive side and good for work, relationship, connecting people. Real voice comes straight from your throat, when you are unaware of the situations. Also looking at Jaesuk 1991 make me realize the fashion trends cycle . The reason his voice is deep compared to the voice we normally hear is because it is his MC voice. He excites the audience for the show, and you can hear that in the voice we normally hear, that voice is energetic and happy. When he normally talks, he doesn't have to do that. You don't see a singer hyping up a crowd with his deep and calm voice, he has to make it somewhat exiting. If he used his normal talking voice in 'running man' for example, it would be quite boring because there is no energy in the room. He excites the audience and simultaneously sets the energy for the other members/guests.

this literally applies to every "influencers" out there. They pretend to be "ALWAYS HYPE AND HAPPY ON SCREEN" to get the viewers attention and not making us feel bored. Do you like watching a video where's the person literally talking with monotone and doenst have feeling voice? nah? yah thats why. This not only applies to jae suk, its literally applies to everybody. If you are presenting your project or having an interview, would you speak "excitingly" or you will speak with depressed voice lol

Yeah. I think everyone in entertainment does the same thing. The tone of their voice changes when they're talking off camera vs on camera. On camera they have to project a mood for the viewers which requires exaggeration. They don't have to do that when just holding a normal conversation. He's a really good MC because he's very good at creating a mood just by talking.

i don't know what show I was watching but they were telling the celebrity (which I also don't remember) that his voice was too low to be in variety shows. Many times you see people raising their pitch (even women) and the way they speak to be variety show-friendly. Yoo Jae Suk is amazing for having figured this out quick and adapted to it.

as far as I know, comedians usually are very serious or at least different like calm when they are outside their job, so it's not really that surprising, and of course he always try so hard to avoid any trouble, he was an obscured comedian for a decade after debuted, developed a stage fright after made some mistake on broadcast, almost gave up on his dream due to that, and now he's on top as one of the best and respected South Korean comedian, on top as one of the best and respected South Korean MC, and don't forget a comedian with the most daesang win, so yeah obviously he tried his best to avoid any troubles to maintain what he earned from all his hardwork

i have a much, much possible simpler explanation. he's getting older, so his voice deepened naturally. but his "on-air" voice is so iconic, that he maybe feels the need to keep that to be recognizable as YJS, since he's doing alot of radio work where people can only identify him from his voice. someone's voice can be as much of a trademark as their physical appareance.

My voice goes up one to two octaves when I'm seeing my elderly clients too. It's to the point where my friends get a shock when they hear my "work" voice. My actual voice is too low and calming and some hard-of-hearing clients may not be able to hear me well hence the much higher tone.

I speak English and Spanish. My Spanish speaking voice is high pitch and cute but my English speaking is cool and deep to the point I was told I intimidated on first impressions. I think it’s because Spanish is my first Language and associated with when I was a baby to a 9 year old child, so my really cute stage 😄 From 10 years old onwards I was in a lot of competitions and moved to a new state that only spoke English. When I read or I’m with children or elders my voice pitch goes up instantly and becomes more clear in both Spanish or English.

Just think of it like when you talk to a small kid under 5 y.o you would usually talk in a different manner or tone than when you talk with your friend. Its the same for Jae-Suk he talks in a rather calm?
