Hi Sam! Thank you for educating us about Rolex. I recently bought a Rolex date 15200, 2002. The watch was in perfect condition, however the sapphire glass had a minor scratch so I decided to take it to a local watchmaker who works with luxury brands like Rolex, and omega. He said he is going to replace the sapphire crystal for another unique crystal, he mentioned that a couple of years ago he purchased inventory from someone else. How do you distinguish an OEM sapphire glass(2002) vs a sapphire glass (aftermarket)? If I take this to a Rolex store. Are they able to recognize if a sapphire glass is not made by Rolex or not? Once again my watch’s year is 2002. I will truly appreciate your help :)

Dude, you didn't make the right distinction... That replica in your video is a low-class copy... It would be nice if you compared the "grade AAA replica" with the original... So that people can really see the differences between "faithful" copies 1 :1 and the original... Of all the replicas, they succeeded the most in replicating the Rolex bass because it is a simple mechanism... In the case of the most expensive replicas with a Swiss mechanism, the only thing is carving in the final processing and a few parts, so I won't go into details... I think on the mechanism...Otherwise video support 👍😉
