I’m assuming he’s trying to look like Sunny, unable to cope with the loss of his best friend. Dyed his hair black, to look like Sunny, dressing black, to match Sunny’s color scheme/favorite colors. I doubt he’ll be a bully like Aubrey. The most he could do, is scream in disbelief and frustration, cry while in anger, and accidentally pushing Hero to the lake in anger, but then apologizing and Kel telling Basil he’s just saying sorry to excuse himself. Him being the only one keeping Sunny’s photos, because he misses him. I’m assuming he may get suicidal, but stays, because he cant yet OOF himself.

[Spoilers] . . . . 0:18 Basil is shaking... doesn't Basil take up the slot for Anger (the second stage of grief) in this AU? As far as I'm aware, in this AU, Mari represents denial, Basil represents anger, Hero represents bargaining, Aubrey represents depression and Kel represents acceptance. What did Aubrey do that made Basil fear her? Did she lash out at him similar to how Hero did to Kel in the original game or something? What is depression against anger? Angry beats sad in rock-paper-scissors, as well! Perhaps there may be something deeper going on between Aubrey and Basil, as well as between Mari and Hero... is Kel the only one without something deep going on aside from masking his emotions with a happy face to cheer up everyone else?

So as I can understand in this universe Mari chose to fix her trauma different from Sunny, she chose to contact with her friends and despite guilt hang out to them (ask we can see Aubrey isn't.... At her teens here, in original she drove crazy cuz she was left at a hard period of time here she wasn't left alone and she's not angry and as happy as in headspace) Does that mean that in this au there's no headspace? After all sunny created it to hang out with his friends for as long and as often as he wants, Mari on the other hand still hangs out with her friends, how would this story go? Why does Kel have pony tail? Why isn't Mari's hair purple? Why is Aubrey's hair purple? Why is Basil's hair black? And most importantly, does hero still go to the university?
