Lindr (who makes this) is great. It usually kicks on for about 5-10 minutes when you first turn it on, then another 2 or 3 minutes after a few minutes; then it's just run its compressor a minute or two per hour. The dial in middle is temp control, and the one on the tap handle is flow control. It'll cool the beer to between 2*C and 8*C from room temperature. The beer (especially IPA's) won't last as long on this, as the keg will be sitting in room temperature, while using a freezer / fridge with taps will make the kegs last longer. Takes a lot more space though. Some pros and cons. I have a keezer with 6 taps for my home-bar, but when I serve beer at events / festivals I'll bring a 2-line Lindr as it's really practical.

Yep there is a cleaning solution that comes with each Pygmy machine

It's really easy to do. Just fill the red and white container supplied with water and purple line solution. Use the coupler to connect to cleaning container in the same way you connect with a keg. Run it through the machine. Then fill the container with water run-through the machine until you see no more purple in the water and it's done.

@@NerdInMotion23 - keep the beer cleaning fluid in the line for 15 minutes before flushing. Nice video, I have a Portapint 45 pro which is the same type of trade dispensor but the 3/8 beer/gas lines go straight in without the adaptor. How much are your polykegs?

Yep S = Sankey. Sankey and Keykeg are the two main ones - although some kegs from large breweries will use A,G or U. Surprised that Brewfitt don't let you add on extra couplers. S + Keykeg would be ideal for most of us.

It's a commercial unit that's used by the biggest brands for the best quality and actually comes in more competitively priced than other units. A few people have migrated from the blade to this machine. It’s a proper commercial piece of kit so there’s none of the downsides you get with the blade.

@@Dmacca2489 I think the dial setting for a specific temperature would change depending on the flow rate controlled by the lever on the side of the pump and the ambient temp of the room the polykeg is in. Better to have a non marked variable control and let taste decide on the best temperatures.

No need for that. This machine has a built-in air compressor. The pressurized air goes into the keg through the blue line. Of course you can choose not to connect it to the beer dispenser but to a CO2 bottle instead. That's a bit more of a hassle, but it's true that when you use CO2, the keg will be good for 1-2 weeks. If you use the air compressor, you should finish the keg the next day because the beer will go bad after that. But if you buy small enough kegs, that shouldn't be an issue.

@@MrBritishComedy you can buy poly kegs too with an internal bag that is essentially squeezing the product from the air compressor. Beer lasts well over a month then.
