@@ntnboy85 It's in the scientific definition, so they shouldn't need to be convinced. According to embryological sources, human life begins at **fertilization**, when a sperm and egg unite to form a zygote. Textbooks and experts in embryology, such as Ronan O'Rahilly, Fabiola Müller, and Keith Moore, consistently affirm that fertilization is the critical landmark for the beginning of human life, as it initiates a unique developmental process distinct from the gametes

The "Single issue" item! I have a nephew who has decided never to decide who to vote for because of a single issue. AKA abortion.

Because now we’ve decided that women are to be worshipped rather than protected. We’ve decided the same for children. These ideologies have been most detrimental to the women and children it purports to uplift.

Respectful, honest young man has bravery to raise a topic like this and ask questions. Kirk provides dignified response in spirit of trying to bridge the gap which exists in our society and provide alternative view. The 75% of commenters slating the guy and calling him stupid - YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM.

I wish someone would talk about the mental anguish women suffer post-abortion.

Maybe we need more women out there who had abortions and can talk about the trauma.
@TheJoyfulEye18 күн бұрын
yes, when i used to picket an abortion facility one of the women picketting with me was there because she deeply DEEPLY regretted her abortion. She had nightmares. She had had another baby to try to make up for it. It had ruined her life.

L or D? What?

Yeah, I was pretty pro-choice when I was younger, but when you get older and actually think things through and realize the gravity of your decisions and the consequences they have. I don’t know, after that a lot of things changed for me, I went Republican and have definitely become pro life. I really believe there’s a maturity factor in a lot of decisions and people that are 18 and 19years old haven’t thought things through and haven’t had enough life experiences to be able to make many decisions.

I disagree. Murder 8s murder, we all know that's a bad thing from the time we start learning. There's a big difference between not thinking things through and knowingly avoiding responsibility for actions.

Agreed. But there are so many people, mostly women, well into a time in life that still think abortion is ok.

Something that impacted me recently is that a family member’s friend was conceived by r*pe. Mom decided to keep the baby, and her daughter loves her mother so much because she decided to keep her. She has expressed her gratuity to her mother on a daily for Mom’s choice to keep her, she stays out of trouble, respects her, has never had issues being obedient, she loves her mother. When my family was talking about this I remembered that where there is darkness, there is always light.
